Axis Airtel Card cashback blunder.

I recently got Axis Airtel Card and on generation of statement, I realised that any bill payments done on Airtel App, be it Airtel bills or others, is being counted under 25% category. This means that there is no way to tap into Rs 500 monthly utility bill payment benefit as of now. 🙄

Refer to the screenshot below. The only payment in this month was for my electricity bill of Rs 1595 and cashback shown is Rs 300 whereas it should have been Rs 159.5.



Fellow community members, I would request you to keep above in mind while getting this card or wait till Axis settles these reporting issues with Airtel.

How I come to know it. I don't see while paying for ny father rc in app of airtel. But used airtel axis cc

In terms ams conditions no where mentioned that it should be paid from airtel gateway. Will they denied on this?

Yes , Swiggy Instamart/Dash is considered as Swiggy transaction . So you will get 10% back in Airtel card .

My only non-LTF card and seems worth it ... Gas + electricity+ all 4 airtel numbers at home + swiggy instamart now

Card where cashback can actually be maximized to optumum level for personal non-commercial use !

Amazon Pay reward rate is actually more than any cashback card in terms of utility bill pay, food order etc. 😂

All the scratch cards I'm getting lately are fairly useless. I've been using it as my primary UPI and still.. last month was good, I had churned almost 1.5 k including friday RP offer.

If you have multiple accounts, eventually you will get offer on every utility bill pay category more and less. Also receiving cashback on Amazon GV purchase for the shopping offer is an exciting thing. In addition to that, Friday offer is icing on the cake if you have multiple RP DC 😂.

Yes ofcourse, I am keeping a tab on the cashbacks for now, just one statement as of now and cashback was as expected. Lets see l, hoping I don't have to deal with Axis Customer Care

Yes, but that makes it multiple transactions and a hassle.
My electricity bill hovers around Rs.2400-3000 and that makes it ideal as I get a cashback of around Rs.240-300

I Don't think Amazon Pay or UPI would offer such good rates !

Scratch card paane ke liye multiple transactions karo, fir correct scratch card mile, fir offer mile jisme bhi capping ho aur bill bharo.

Mujhe yeh sab karne se better lagta hai flat 10% off in a single transactiion for my utility bills.

For example, Just last month lpg cylinder book kiya and Rs.100/- cashback aaya... I Don't think Amazon se karne par bhi utna milega... Around Rs.70-80 max milega via Amazon.
