I think axis is having inter department wars where they are trying to kill their own products themselves.
That is the beauty of these guys 🪓 ...
and no-one knows what it would be like in 3 to 6 months time ..

This Horizon CC may become Vertical CC... 😉

Ater the card is launched and later after 6 to 12 months of abuse.. poor genuine holders will suffer...

So if someone has got Atlas and horizon how will he convert his miles?
At 1:2 or 1:1 ratio?
You need to tell us, after getting Vertical CC soon .. 😉

1:1 transfer ratio so inferior to Atlas.

It will be very confusing to have 4 different edge buckets, all with different conversion ratios--
Edge points 5:2
Burgundy points 5:4
Atlas edge miles 2:1
Horizon edge miles 1:1

So, you Pay INR 5000+GST for Atlas and get 2500 Edge Miles and Pay INR 3000+GST for Horizon and get 5000 Edge Miles??
In Atlas, 1st year loss is Rs. 900 ; 5900-5000
In Atlas, 2nd year onwards profit or lost depends on your tier, whether Silver (5900 loss) Gold (900 loss) or Platinum (4100 profit)

In Horizon, 1st year profit is Rs.1460; 3540-5000.
In Horizon, 2nd year onwards loss is Rs.2040; 3540-1500.
Horizon does not have any Silver Gold or Platinum tiers

Atlas conversion ratio 1:2.
Welcome benefit - 2500 edge miles i.e. 5000 partner points (with 1 exception).

Horizon conversion ratio 1:1.
Welcome benefit - 5000 edge miles i.e. 5000 partner points (across the board)

Horizon is basically Premier Miles with Axis branding. Reward rate/value and even the no. of domestic lounge access on Visa and MasterCard are the same. International lounge access and renewal benefits are extra perks to keep citi users happy. Downside is the list of exclusions which was very small with Citi PM.

Premier Miles used to give 4 points/100 on general spends and 10 points/100 on travel spends with a value of 45p per point.
General spends - 4 x 0.45 = 1.80 Rs
Travel spends - 10 x 0.45 = 4.5 Rs

For Horizon 2 points/100 on general spends and 5 points/100 on travel spends with a value of 1 Rs per point.
General spends - 2 x 1 = 2 Rs
Travel spends - 5 x 1 = 5 Rs
