Axis Bank Privilege Credit Card (LTF) – Worth the Upgrade?

Hey everyone,


I just got an upgrade offer for the Axis Bank Privilege Credit Card (Visa) with Lifetime Free (LTF) benefits. I'm wondering if it's worth taking.



Currently, I hold:

• Airtel Axis Bank Mastercard
• MyZone Axis Bank Visa
• Combined limit: ₹1.3L

A few questions:

1. Is this card beneficial in terms of rewards and perks?
2. If I accept the upgrade, will my existing card be closed, or will I retain it?
3. Will getting this card increase my chances of getting a higher variant Axis credit card in the future?

Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences! 🙌

It used to be a popular card earlier as it had the concept of Brand Vouchers where edge point would get valued at 40p instead of 20p.
I don't know if that's still the case

kya ye card lena sahi rahega ispe upgrade ya limit increase k offer aa sakte hai kya.
mere pass abhi flipkart or neo card hai. with 90k shared limit

Applied and got it ltf from pre-approved list. Application approved and just waiting for physical card to get delivered.

I am also getting the same LTF offer, but this card doesn't seems to be worth it even LTF, for a card with a fees of 1800 they have spend based criteria for airport lounges and asix reward system sucks, Only EasyDiner discount seems usable benefit

Took it as my 3rd card on 4th feb2025. I closed it on 28th Feb. I could see 10 pre-approved cards till I took ace as my 3rd card. After closing it shows like that?

Yeah! I am already using SBI CB using AGV. Getting 5%. Don't know about 10% CB.

But now Axis Ace has become useless.

Not after April 2024. Brand voucher was its USP which is no more.

Devaluation Thread 'Axis Privilege - Multi Brand Vouchers are gone forever.'

20th April has came and went now but I am still able to see the Multi Brand Vouchers as a redemption method in my app.

Does this mean that it was a false alarm? This also would mean that the Axis IOCL, Axis Select and Privilege are still worth the fees and still hold quite a bit of value.

No. The screenshot you shared does not seem from the upgrade page, but rather the pre-approved section which you might have explicitly opened.

No. Privilege won't change anything in chances for approval of higher variant cards.

This is FY end so they either might be offering it for this month OR it maybe stay LTF forever.
Regardless the card died a year ago and is now a basic card which offers not much of value. Even Select does not have much to offer if they have given that as LTF.


Many have either closed the card after devaluation or have kept it as a spare.
