Axis Bank sending notice for clarification regarding customer's travel spends on atlas

Axis Bank today sent notices to many of its Atlas credit card customers requesting clarification and invoices regarding their "travel category spends". Axis Atlas is a travel-focused credit card, so it's surprising that the bank is asking for invoices and clarification for travel category expenses over the past few months. A few days ago, Axis Bank deducted Edge Miles and Edge Reward Points from some customers' reward accounts, citing business transactions. Now, they are requesting clarification on affected customers' travel spends within the next 30 days, otherwise, the bank will cancel their credit cards.

Here, I'm attaching a copy of the notice email:

Many genuine Atlas customers have been affected by this move. Some people just spent under 10k on travel categories and received clarification notices. I can understand Axis's desire to eliminate abusers from their customer list, but troubling genuine customers is unacceptable. This is the main reason I didn't add the Axis Magnus Burgundy credit card/Axis Magnus credit card to our list of the best credit cards for 2024. While it may offer good rewards, it's not reliable at all. Axis should revert to their old credit card reward system as they are not capable of running a reward system with airmiles transfer partners.
For peace of mind, stay away from Axis Bank credit cards.

Axis bank credit cards is like Shaadi ka Laddo.... Khao to bhi pachtao na khao to phi pachtao

I only have MyZone from Axis and dont use it anymore since they devalued the swiggy discount.

The list should be which ones are not snipped.
There is still some time left for this question to be posed. Please 🙏 wait ✋️

Mat khao ye ladoo, koi pachtawa nahi hoga...

Actually now its quite clear especially after what they did with Magnus.

I wonder.

The best thing about this MyZone is that I have not used it since 4 months now and last month I got a message that they deducted RP for some transactions happened few days ago.
I dont even bother to engage with Axis at this point, though I do like to frustrate their sales team from time to time, especially when they do not know what XIRR is while selling their product.

1) do all atlas holders have got email or specifically sent?
2) do edge balance showing as zero who got the email?

1) Do you hold any Axis card ?
2) Do you hold Atlas ?

Just want to confirm you are a potential customer/ suffering customer!!! 😉

I think @chasni is onto something. Now I think we know why Axis is asking for invoices.
Their system is fried and lost all the CC data and thus no statements, so they are asking every customer for the invoices so that they can update the system.

Thats what you get by using software from Info*y*. There would be some intern who would be manually updating these entries working 70 hours a week.

on the contrary , we generally produce cc statement as a proof of purchase , in case we lost invoice...
what a pity?
If its online, you have everything in the email. I just searched my email for all the transactions asked and sent them a single pdf with all the transaction
