Axis bank upgrade of cards through customer care is stopped

Most of you know that if we use an axis bank credit card for 3 or more months , we can upgrade to other card by calling through customer care.

Meanwhile , I am trying to upgrade one of my axis bank credit card through customer care from Tuesday (2/8/22) and they were keep on informing that due to some technical issue we can't upgrade the card.

Today I called the customer care , they said RBI has asked axis bank to stop taking requests from phone banking and if we require any new cards we have to apply through branch or net banking or mobile app.

@TechnoFino @anirbanm Can you please confirm the same by asking your resources and inform us.
 
On online chat the said they do not do on online chat. I called c care they once said Vistara base can't be upgraded over call. Another time when I called they said they have stopped issuing new cc on call.

Tried Now, they approved instantly. Card setup option was showing inside..

New process we have to fill online form..

Make sure you say I need existing card ACTIVE, also Use different reward system cards (FK axis CASHBACK to Axis Myzone EDGE POINTS)..

Cus care number - 18004190072 (have to wait few mins to connect agent)

Via call you get the card instantly Really?
 
Yeah Axis restarted to issue card over CC call.. before diwali 1st Nov applied for magnus via there online interface had a physical kyc nxt day.. provided all the documents.. also already having 2 axis cards with 5+lac limit.. still denied for the card when I enquire about it a week later over a chat..
Then immediately tried via CC call to issue for magnus.. it was generated immediately however now they send a consent message but its a superb relief from axis..
 
I just called customer care, he straightway denied to issue airtel cc, even though the existing limit on fk axis is 4.62 lakhs.
He told me to apply through website, but i guess no option of airtel axis card is shown.
i Tried with airtel app, there too i was not able to apply.
What can i do, kindly guide if anyone has some idea over this.
They are now not giving airtel and ace cards easily as people have looted huge cashbacks from them

Try this number 18004190072, even i Already filled form using axis select they didn't process on Oct...

Yesterday I tried again with fl axis they processed instantly..


May try after sometime or with different agent

Had a 30 min long call they explained each and every feature fees etc and in conclusion they cannot upgrade my Magnus to either Reserve or Vistara Infinite. Epic waste of time.
