Axis Magnus - 4 times rejected, now card is pre-approved in app

Hi! I was trying to get magnus since last 1 month and applied online and every time my application was declined. However strangely, today i saw magnus card in pre-approved card list on axis app. I applied and a new card is showing in my app now with same limit as my vistara infinite card. The app now says we shall deliver the physical card shortly.

I am really perplexed why the declined 4 times and then automatically pre-approved the card.

When did you get your last axis bank card? What was your credit limit on vistara infinite/ace before magnus pre-approved offer?

if you go to credit card section in app, there is a banner at the bottom for applying new card, click that and you will see the pre-approved cards

7 cards were shown in my pre approved list with same limit as my current (ace) card. Applied for select card. It's still in process since more than a month ! What's going on with axis ?

All I did was put up more than good amount of balance in SB ac with Axis. Earlier I was also seeing all cards but no Magnus. Moment I added funds in SB ac, I could see magnus.

How much? I've had 10L+ in my axis sb for several months now.

That could be it. My flipkart cc has only 1.8L since inception. Says I'm eligible for LE, but once I click through it says not eligible.
