Axis Magnus "Meet & Greet" Experience (and a mistake that you should not make)

Hello Everyone,
I want to share my experience related to Axis Magnus Meet & Greet Service that i recently booked for International departure at delhi airport (T3).
We were 8 people in the group so i availed all that magnus offers in one go.
We entered the airport through staff entry gate and within a minute we were in airport. After getting the luggage checked in we cleared the check in through business passenger section. That too was super quick. There was practically no waiting from start to finish.
After the security check we had plenty of time to kill. IMG_3622.JPG

Now here a miscommunication started. They didnt tell me that lounge access is also included i this service. And I didnt know any better. So I didnt ask about lounge access as well. In reading a twitter post where someone told that they got access to lounge access as well.
After reading this i mailed Axis guys to verify about lounge access. They told its NOT included in meet and greet service. Ok, i thought. But then, one more person shared their experience of axis m&g where he also got the lounge access.
When i asked him on twitter if got the free lounge access in m&g then Encalm guys responded by saying that its included in m&g.

All in all i missed the lounge access ..other wise it was a good experience.
After some time they arrived with a buggy and we were dropped at the gate for the boarding.

So, do confirm if lounge access is there or not in Meet and greet service when you book from axis.

Actually M&G service is provided by Pranam, which operates the Adani lounge also and Pranam belongs to Adani. We were 3 travellers and we had been escorted to business lounge. I asked for card swipe for entry in lounge to Pranam representative, but she told that no need to swipe the card.

But if u have foreign trips planned for the year then better utilization of pp should be at international lounges
But isn't it unlimited access in PP. What I was saying is one can use magnus PP. At the domestic lounge 1 can use magnus card for themselve and PP swipe for the guest on same PNR. This will not use the guest quota from pp rather the unlimited quota, right?

Yes if lounge’s permits
In India we can do this… abroad the boarding pass name and card name should get match

I've seen this done widely in India. I see whole groups or families of 6 people entering with the cards of one single individual. Then you see them swiping 6-7 different cards from the same guy.

Problem is then huge queues and overcrowded lounges. Also the quality overall just goes down. Some lounges look like a roadside cheap restaurant and the selection, quality and availability of food and amenities reflect that.

It isn't permitted but like everything else people abuse it and the staff allows it.
I guess because they're chargeable, they earn money out of it and simply don't care about any service or quality, so they allow it.

Nonetheless it should be discouraged or reported if you see this happening. While it might sound patronizing, arrogant, pretentious or whatever the service is meant for cardholders or members of PP. Quite often I'd rather go and sit at McDonald's rather than some lounges in certain airports within India because of the same.

Axis bank much unpredictable I too know one of my office guy who hold axis magnus with addon and addon has pp
He have 25l nrv not sure whether any ZM gave specific approval
Reserve add-on gets PP , Magnus they don’t give as per my experience
I have this in written communication from MD desk .
I tried a lot to get PP for add-on but they denied outright , I have managed 4 cards from axis and even managed add-on for my wife who has 2 primary axis cards but still couldn’t manage PP for my add-on

Yes the quotes by u r true in context to the Indian lounges
Lounge managers can strictly check names match with boarding passes and card used to avail lounge facilities but they won’t do it since they get reduced business which have monthly’s lesser revenue from card issuing banks or MC/Visa
Seriously the impact is on one single genuine travelling person who lose his nice time and amenities due to the highly manipulated/created crowd

It’s a miraculous achievement to get addon for a person who hold an axis card primarily already👍

And here I am still struggling to get an add-on card 😀 please share the secret of your success!
 
Any pointers if the M&G service is useful for a Bengaluru for a business travel (either / both at departure or arrival) - my understanding it may be very useful when arriving here - for departure isn't immigration usually a breeze through except for the queue that may be there? - any pointers - this will be my first time to use this service - hence guidance would be good. Thanks
 
Even infants are added on the ticket and show in the PNR.. are they counted as well? Can we add guests from a different PNR as well?
Yes, This is my personal experience me and my colleague booked tickets for the same flight last year and I booked the Airport concierge for both and uploaded both tickets and was able to avail the service. This is in Hyderabad.

I was given a PP with my Add on as well. This was in 2020 I applied Magnus(along with addon for my wife) via my RM and he sent a credit card official to my home and he helped me fill my application and it was a straight forward process from there. Not sure about the current situation though
