Bank of baroda easy variant upgraded in premier

I got my bob rupay easy card in april….. 34k limit…. Used more than a lakh in three months…



Mailed them to upgrade to rupay premier on conversions@bobfinancial.com on basis of my spends…



They upgraded just on a single mail… No form… No cibil hit… No questions… Card dispatched today…. Not sure about limit or card type visa or rupay…. Will see on delivery…

I applied on 30th June and received the link to VKC today.

Business As Usual process which are as follows:

1. Uploading of Adhaar XML for Identity proof and Adhaar XML/Driving Licence/Passport/Voter ID for address proof.

2.You need to show pancard and put your signature on a white paper. They will capture a photo of you as well.

Okay then I will get link on Monday I guess

Varies from 1 day to 3 months.... Mine approval was done in 1 day... After vkyc...

Haven't received any verification call over the phone or in person yet. Will update once/if I receive anything.

One of colleague got EASY Card, he didn't get any call, few days after Vkyc agent came to his home and verified his address proofs.

For me... There was no contact whatsoever from bob card department .... Except a email to ask for documentation.....no vkyc..... It has been completely virtual experience

Okay, i think they verify address if communication address was different from Aadhar address.

I also had same... Both address different...... In march they were flooded with applications..... Its best to apply in march as its financial year end for banks.....

Sorry there was vkyc.... But i got that option after I received my credit card rejection mail....

Finally rupay premier received.... Look and material wise... Card is much better than easy card...

Completed my In Person Verification today. The person came from the nearest branch and was an aged one. He told they have received overwhelming responses but most of the applications are fake/junk hence, it is taking some time for them to filter it out. Although he confirmed the timeline depends on the home branch the application is mapped to.

Update - The card is indeed premier and also rupay variant with same limit as my easy card.... The new card number is updated in dashboard...

But select has limit of only 1000 points ... For 5x of online spends... So not much of use... It will get finished very early..... And flat rates are 1 points per 100...whereas in premier flat rates are 2 points per 100.....

So after finish of boosted quota.... Premier still gives 0.5% rewards..

not sure of that i recieved 1252 point for single transaction of 25k but that was for travel booking
