to apply:
if you are existing BOI account holder: just go to bank and fill the form of debit card change

if you are opening fresh account: after account opening, when you fill the form to get debit card you can mention your desired variant.

Option is not live for applying new DC, as per choice.
BOI is far advance since many many years, in Digital Banking, but depends on your usage, as well.

AFAIK, all debit cards give the same amount of RPs (regardless of variant) so it doesn't matter.

Haven't seen a comment on the best way to use BOI Star Rewardz points. Yes, utility bill payments and recharges are there but unlike SBI Rewardz there is no CC bill pay. Utility bill payments and recharges can be done at discounted rates via other means (e.g. Amazon Pay balance, Axis Ace/Airtel etc) but CC bill pay is barely at 1% discount and thus offers the best value.

Is someone using boi classic debit card for large payments more than 10k+ cause when i do a single transaction above 10k the payment gets declined. Dont know why.

Must be a transaction limit. Check in the app or net banking. I do up to Rs 50k with mine.

Actually mine is 50k. The app is useless it shows no debit card linked. I just changed my limit through atm 🏧 still the transaction is getting declined.

I was planning to upgrade to the select variant for the benefits. I think the transaction limit would also be upgraded right?
