Benefits of getting Amex platinum from US in India?

So if we even transact in India using the US card it acts like the indian version. Is my understanding correct?
no... if you use us amex for making any transaction in India it will be counted as foreign transaction, but there are no markup fees applicable for amex plat.
but... you have to pay card bill in USD from US bank ac.
and yes... US MR points are more valuable.

Solution
US MR points has more value for Airmiles compared to Indian MR points

Probably there's no charges extra (forex) for transactions in INR 🤔

Neither of them are a 100% true.

The earning rate of US Platinum Card is 1 MR point per USD whereas the Indian Platinum Card earns 1 MR point per Rs. 40. (That's 2 MR Points per ~$1. US Platinum Card has 1:1 Conversion ratio whereas Indian Platinum Card has 2:1 conversion ratio. So effectively, no difference in Airmiles accumulation. The loss is in Marriott Bonvoy.

The major difference is the Airmiles Partners on the Indian Platinum Card Vs the US Platinum Card.

Zero Forex Mark-up - This look lucrative but the conversion rate and remittance charges while sending money into US Bank account for paying the US Platinum Card Bill is a decent amount taking away any major benefit of the Zero Forex Mark-up.

One need not send money from Indian account to US account by themselves. To avoid wire charges etc.
Not everybody has relatives or friends or income in the USA to avoid wire charges. Is there a way to transfer money other than this without wire charges that I am missing?
