How would you rate payzapp in comparison to Gpay/phonepe?
I just used payzapp to make my 1st payment and interface was awesome.
What is ur review of the same?

@techprince Thanks for the detailed post.
I was going through npci website and found that three more apps released in November 2024 itself
What the @#$% is happening? These apps are coming up with all sorts of unimaginable combinations of how our money can be used and lure people with the best benefits. Can't say which of these will survive at least 5-10 years. The whole fintech ecosystem is hugely changing.

I would stay away from small fintechs. Initially they lure customers with good offers and later on they reduce it as they fail to sustain. UPI market is already getting saturated. Even Flipkart started their own Flipkart UPI within their own app similar to Amazon. So instead of chasing meager rewards, stay with some good app with huge backing.
Exactly. Nobody knows till when all these smaler players are going to be there.
It is somewhat similar to the crypto apps and online lending apps (maybe quick comm as well) I would say. There are a lot of them rising each day and many are getting shut down as well. With the kind of RBI and NPCI restrictions coming in, we can't predict what's going to be there.
Also currently mainly tech savvy finance savvy people are using them. But once something becomes big and goes to the wider market, we can expect many more changes in the way they operate. Only a duopoly will survive in the long term.

Back to square one. Google pay is the best UPI app in terms of reliability and stability. Reward wise it is poor. No rewards from app side.

But compared to all other apps, Simple and clean UI, easy functionality, no unwanted icons and features. All in all, it is good, no nonsense.

2nd best maybe payzapp (not having enough experience with it.)

Next best could be Amazon pay.

I was using Tata neu app but off late it has been becoming worse and worst. Thinking of exiting this app. Even the credit card points are tied to tata brands. That's a limitation.

I didn't dig deeper than this..

Is the thing about PayTM being the best for RuPay Credit Card payments actually true? Can anyone else confirm this? Does PayTM have a higher success rate when paying merchants using RuPay Credit Cards on UPI?

It all depends on the connectivity available in that particular area/locality at that particular time - as provided by your connectivity service provider - either wifi or 4G or 5G or 2G.

Paytm bank had highest success ratio...After RBI ban, they are dependent on other banks for UPI which adds one more layer of connectivity....For high success ratio, go for either Yes Bank upi app which has highest merchants on-board or Axis Bank. Rest all is shit

So many have recommended Super.money and I have been using it for quite some time however I noticed few issues which few they have fixed some I think is still there I will mention the same

1. Didnt work in BMTC Canara Bank QR in Nov I took images and raised a bug report which I am glad to say they have fixed.

2. Doesnt work for UPI payment for eTreasurey Kerala QR and UPI ID raised the issue last time havent tried after that so dont know whether it works now

3. Doesnt work when I send payment request to the UPI ID in November from crypto app for depositing money havent tried after that so cant tell whether it works now

In all these 3 Navi worked so my primary UPI app is Super.money when it fails I use Navi. However around Christmas in Amazon I saw lot of offers something called Cashback Carnival for Send Money and Scan & Pay and the last 4 days I have been using it and have received Rs 2 as Amazon Pay Balance for each transaction (no more no less) for a minimum of Rs10 transaction. Dont know how long the offer will last.

Yesterday I saw that INDMoney has started UPI payments have not tried it yet so dont know how it is just added my bank account and CC to UPI. Will make a transaction soon and will update whether they give cashback or not

Talking about GOOGLE PAY i have a separate post

PAYZAPP
Tried UPI(2 times) using PIXEL CC but its showing some error whereas in PAYTM the CC works fine 😕

PHONEPE
Sometimes i use for CC upi and it never let me down.

PAYTM
My savior from the beginning. Always instant. I love it. 99.999% success rate
Loved paytm when it had custom vpa but now it's really out there for my liking.
