Best use of 10k Tata Cliq Voucher via Magnus

Hello Friends,

I have opted for 10k Tata Cliq vouher via Magnus welcome benefits. Can you please tell me the best purchase from Tata Cliq possible? How is everybody spending their 10k voucher from Magnus on Tata Cliq? Asking because most the product prices are inflated in comparison to other websites.

Appreciate any guidance on the same! Thanks

I assume you're asking where I got the info regarding MMTC-PAMP v/s BRPL That's from the 2 links below. I'm a beginner so I make no claims regarding the veracity of anything that is said in either of the links

I assume that at one point TataCliq did sell MMTC-PAMP. Whether they have temporarily or permanently discontinued it, I have no idea

While you are right that pamp offers better quality gold, whenever you're selling to a jeweller, they are likely going to take the gold out of the package, melt it and put it in their machine to check the purity. After melting it doesn't matter if the gold was brpl or pamp. The variance in weight is also a point to consider but it again depends on the premium you are paying. 99.94% pure gold ar lower premium is arguably better than 99.99% higher premium gold all other things remaining the same.

Since pamp is no longer available on tatacliq, in order to utilize the voucher, brpl is the best. (Note that brpl is also not available in all locations.)

I got Tara click 10k voucher after 3 days of first swipe and called cc and paid 11800 so that gv worked and now amount is in cliqcash confusion what to buy and validity till oct 23 so left it

The concierge help desk had said if i face issues logging in i should call the number mentioned on the email. Thankfully i did not face any issues and was able to redeem the voucher 48hrs after my first txn.

The flight voucher condition is very tricky and not suitable for most of us or not worth in domestic sector.

hopefully they change the voucher from tata cliq to amazon/flipkart as its more generic and useful! else i see a lot of people closing the card next year 😀

This line occurs there: "Gift Cards are not applicable on purchase of bullions."
Does anyone know if that was always the case or is this something new?

Also, that may mean that jewellery (non coins/bars/medals) can be purchased. Has anyone tried? I haven't got my voucher so can't try yet

It isn't useless, they have an excellent catalog and good customer service/experience.

I wouldn't be surprised of people buying bunch of gift cards to buy gold (not jewelry) and then sell it just to reach the 1L milestone and reap the maximum rewards via GiftEdge while at it.

Banks and their partners notice the bad patterns, probably a fair share of people exploited the program which ultimately spoils it for the genuine users.

Unusual/unexpected amount of people buying gift cards in GiftEdge/GrabDeals/etc ultimately costs the bank and partners money whether that's in cashback or rewards.

Points to people aren't exactly cash (nor easy to profit off) but for the bank it IS hard cash. TnC usually forbids bartering/selling points and all airlines/hotels do the same.
