Best Way to pay Credit Card Bill

Guys I am redacting this post as I have been asked by the bank for non disclosure as mentioned in TnCs else my account would be suspended. They had asked me to remove this as this violates the TnC related to not getting reward points for CC payments.

Directly approach branch and inform them you won't go out until remove the debt freeze!!!

Two days ago they resolved my address and now my name and wife's signature still left 😂

OMG. For my instance they just verify in home address directly and release the debt freeze with 24hrs of account opening!!

I don't know how they got my address all wrong and it took them 3 weeks to fix it.

what about rewards for both cards on single acc on same cust ID

there is no capping*
visa gold is virtual only card, all savings holders can opt for this.
another card based on ac variant or our preferences.

earning on visa gold and titanium card is difficult, dont you know?
0.5 rupee for every 400 inr spend*
For every, 80k you get 100 rupees.

for hdfc, millenia 400; remaining cards 750

I think it all depends on the branch. My branch is really bad and debit freeze happens often. But they lift it in 3 days. But another problem comes and we keep fighting.

Since they did not inform me of debit freeze, I paid big basket and that transaction failed. However, money is taken away from account. All these things happen only in this bank.

I take this as a blessing in disguise. If I had paid 1 lakh credit card bill using this bank debit card, imagine the pain I need to go through to recover it. I am switching to HDFC (adding extra account to pay beyond 75k).

I was under the same idea to use it when needed since it is zero balance account. Where to use it is the only question remaining.

Big basket 20% off is the only one I have left. The risk is around 2k and I am now going through the chargeback process for it. So will know how it goes. Similarly Fastag offer for 10% is another good one.

1% upto Rs 100.
Give access prior to generation (I wouldn’t advise though for email/sms access)
