Best Way to pay Credit Card Bill

Guys I am redacting this post as I have been asked by the bank for non disclosure as mentioned in TnCs else my account would be suspended. They had asked me to remove this as this violates the TnC related to not getting reward points for CC payments.

I think no you will get one active debit card. Though there are some people here who claim they got more than one debit card for their savings account.
You can go for joint account where one person can get easyshop debit card and other can millennia debit card.

Have to check points. But someone else confirmed it in another thread. We can test with a transaction and report back. Paytm used to change MCC and hence we need multiple samples.

I said Paytm accepts Mastercard now. I never talked about the points. Paytm for some weird reason limits Mastercard for credit card payment. Wonder why.

Got the points. However wanted to try again to ensure Paytm does not change the MCC as I did not get for Visa card last time. However, when I check now, I get the old error for Mastercard as “this payment type is not allowed using Mastercard”.

So Bottomline is probably use MobiKwik which seems to be always utility MCC and works well with Mastercard.

Another update: Freecharge (using Axis pay dues) + Visa failed. Don’t see any points even after 6 days.

Now back to square one. No acceptance for credit card bill payment. I get the error that Mastercard not allowed for this payment type. Paytm works with Visa but I did not get points once.

I am tired of this. Planning to open another hdfc account and stick to hdfc bill pay.
