I opened bob advantage savings account today online and applied easemytrip debit card. Now my question is should I fund the account now or after receiving the debit card? Is there any chances of getting this account freezed? And when will I get the debit card? Thank you.

Select credit doesn’t have the same benefits as of Select Debit. Refer to Commanders reply for the benefits

Thread 'Activating BOB World Net Banking Generating Mobile Banking PIN without DC'

I opened the BOB Super Savings Account (SB 117) online on 2nd September 2024. I received the CIF and Account Number via SMS and the welcome letter by email on the same day within 3 to 4 hours. After that, I needed to log in to my BOB World App to Order my Sapphire DC.

Timeline: Account Open (02/09/24) - Net and Mobile Banking Login (02/09/24) - Rupay Platinum DC(03/09/24) - Ordered Sapphire DC (04/09/24) - Welcome Kit Delivered with Rupay Platinum DC (10/09/24)

Let me share the process of how to log in to Net Banking and Activate BOB World Mobile Banking:

Via India Post, If you select DC then it will come with the welcome kit. I don't think BOB provides an Insta kit, check with your branch.

According to my experience Visa Sapphire Male > Wellness Select > EMT.

How much should be the time gap between applying all the 3 cards?
 
Has BOB changed the default debit card that is issued? I had opted for DC during online opening of Advantage account. I just got the DC but it is an orange Rupay Classic. I was told they give Rupay Platinum as default DC.
 
Can anyone link me to the page that has the debit card fees for various BOB cards? I cant find it in the Service charges page.

Thanks. This page is confusing though. It says first year free and then goes on to also mention issuance fee. Then how is it first year free? 1732623296417.webp
