How did you did open BOB account online even after having existing customer id?
It shows an error after Aadhaar card and PAN Card number right? How did your bypass it?
Thats crazyyyy man.
I don't know, i just closed one bob account just 1 week back. Customer id is still active.
Now i opened advantage account, no error thrown.
Changed pincode to select rural branch.
Neither asked address proof nor asked reason in vkyc.
Gave old pan which has different sign and shown aadhar via laptop which is very blur.

Despite all these difficulties, account opened smoothly with new customer id.

Did you login to BOB World app?
 
I was expecting that new account will be added to same customer id and will reflect in mobile app.
But new customer Id given and mobile app showing empty.
I need to reinstall and relogin i guess

what exactly are the dirrent main key personal details between your old profile and new profile? there must be some different key attributes between your old account and new account.
How did you open your old account offline / online ?
and how long ago?
How many accounts did you have with your previous cust id? and their brief history.

It has crazy story actually.
Way back in 2014, my friend told me that BOB guys coming to their intermediate college to open zero balance accounts.
I gave him my aadhar xerox, ration card xerox, passport size photo, bob guys collected docs from him and he himself signed. Next day they distributed passbooks in the college itself. They bsbda jan dan account.
That time i dont have PAN.

3 Months back same account upgraded to Masterstroke by BM. I don't remember whether I linked Pan card or card( this is key i guess). But as far as I remember, bob sent me mail for rekyc 6 months back and i filled pan number.
Closed masterstroke.

So my relationship was
Masterstroke account
Eterna credit card with 3L limit ( i didn't linked it in bob world app).

Till now, i can able to login into bob world app but no account is showing with active customer id
 
I linked in Phonpe but asking debit card details.
Netbanking saying invalid customer id. Takes time may be
Open BOB World click on the top right corner it will show your customer id below your name. Match this customer id with your newly opened account.

Oh man, Thats what I said. Bob world app still showing old customer id. Seems like it takes time to get access to netbanking and mobile app.

Logged into netbanking successfully.

But here's the twist. When i tried to enable bob world app in netbanking, its saying ur number already registered to other customer id.
To delink my number from old customer id, logged into old netbanking, everything empty, there are no options available.
So I'm stuck
Any jugaad? @Strange @Anupama_Jha @SSV

Logged into netbanking successfully.

But here's the twist. When i tried to enable bob world app in netbanking, its saying ur number already registered to other customer id.
To delink my number from old customer id, logged into old netbanking, everything empty, there are no options available.
So I'm stuck

I was expecting this kind of issues ,that's why I asked those many questions.
At some point it will identify that the is Duplicated in the system

If they feel duplicate, they will remove or merge old customer id, I don't they would dare to touch active one.
Mistake is mine, i should have deregistered from mobile app before closing account.

No man, I should not go public now. If they find its their glitch, they might close account abruptly as it's new.
I will use account for 2months, then it reaches no point of return, then i raise issue on mobile app.

Anyhow I can manage without mobile app, as upi and netbanking working perfectly.
Only thing I will miss is virtual debit card.

Same issue with me too earlier. You have to raise this issue in branch they will forward your complaint and deregister you mobile number from previous bank account then you can register it with your new bank account.
