Which car, which dealer? When I bought my last car, they didn't even agree to take CC payment even for accessories. The only thing I paid by CC was the booking amount of 11K and the 3 years comprehensive insurance of around 72K.
Depends on how desperate are they. I recently bought a bike. Swiped almost everything on cc. Bought my own insurance also. 😛

He charged around 0.75%( free for dc) but I had already secured much more discount. I had convinced another dealer for 0% charge for cc but he was giving lesser discount.

its true for all models...They just created artificial waiting time for models like creta to create hype and FOMO. My neighbour bought creta with waiting time of 2 months in Dec'24 and when i checked the year and month of manufacture, it was April, 2024....A model with waiting period of 2 months, mfg date will not be beyond max 1 month

My driver bought Honda SP125 bike in Dec'24 and mfg month was same Dec'24 because it is highest selling model

Fact of the matter is that there is economic slowdown and people are now spending money wisely in anticipation of recession or future impact on their income.
Though it is true, supply is controlled, but it is done by brand not the dealer. Dealers beg to get more cars. Many times they source the cars from other dealer and share the premium.

Dealers don't care if the supply is artificial restricted or not. They check their inventory and demand. For many models of tata, mahindra, maruti, Hyundai, demand is much more than supply.

Brand intentionally manufacture low/mid variants in lesser quantity as this has lower margin. This helps in upsell. When xuv 700 was launched many dealer weren't even taking order for mid variants, backlog was so high mahindra forbade them.

Yeah, anyway now I am pursuing from bordering state. Has less registration fee and no insane requirements for BH no plates.
Do a research on bh plates beforehand.
At every renewal you have to show that you still work in allowed employers. If you plan to sell , then the buyer must be from allowed employers, otherwise you will 1st have to transfer to normal state registration, reclaim any residual amount from bh registration and then sell.

I am not sure if they have changed now, but it was like this earlier.

Yes. But they expects full exshowroom payment before they generate invoice for registration.
ya I don't see a problem here. For part payments, you only get receipts, not invoice. Invoices are generated once full payment is done. I am surprised they agreed just on exshowroom price, generally dealers want registration etc charges too before invoice.

My point was op needs to pay full exshowroom and then they will start reg process.

With repay & reuse method you have wait transaction to shows up, then repay, wait for it to settle and then again swipe. He might have to wait hours, if he plans to use this method. Hdfc and icici take time in this method. Axis is faster.

Also with repay and reuse there is chance of card blocking. Hdfc temp blocks after spending 2x cl in a statement cycle. Happened with me twice.

Yes also sends warning mail. If you spends more than cl in a statement cycle regularly, they will block the card.
