Try applying for Amazon ICICI card, if you need it only.

I heard you get a good limit there. Once you are alive 4-5l CLimit, then you can try for Magnus.

But yes as @bengaltiger said do not worry abt this now, in few years you will slowly raise up in your career, salary and Cibil all.

Then you can apply and try all these super premium.

I remember starting with 25-30k limit on HSBC card way back in my initial Jon time or so.

I already got a Amazon Card, Sapphiro, MMT Signature, HPCL with shared limit of 1.3L
SBI Prime with 1.2L
Axis Flipkart, IOCL with 1L
BoB Premier with 1L
HDFC Millennia with 99k

Salary account is with SBI, I dont expect any offers from that Bank, even with offers I dont think Elite or even that Aurum is of any great use.

is your HPCL- super saver or Coral ? Paid or LTF ?

I suggest at current stats , don’t go for any card that charges above 1500, if you are able to manage LTF super premium cards which I highly doubt you can, it’s better to first increase your ITR first and then try for paid or LTF super premium card.
At ITR of 6 lakhs , paying more than 2k for your card forget benefits you will not be able to cover your card charges even .
Benefits are proportion to your spends , higher the spends higher the benefit.

Currently try to get LTF cards from icici or Kotak , as those 2 are generous in giving LE. Once your limit goes above 2-3lakhs , joint the hdfc ladder first by acquiring HDFC Milenia or better Regalia and then join the race for infinia

Or if your axis guy , once current limit goes above 4 lakhs go for Magnus
But always take cards whose joining fees is in lieu of your ITR.
Generally joining fees should not be more than 3% of your annual ctc

Park some funds in a IDFC or HDFC savings account and wait for a pre approved card from them with a good limit. Indusind did the same for me. Parked some 6 lakh rupees in my savings account and they offered a card with 3 lakh limit. You can then in some time use that card to apply via c2c for other premium cards.

(Time taking but actually possible)

unfortunately I'm stuck with a govt job. so don't have liberty to have a ITR Jump.
