How did you convince branch for 2 DC?

Honest answer - I asked them to issue me a second DC, they were initially reluctant but didnt say no, I insisted, they said " are you here only for the debit card, why dont you do some funding first" I took less than 120 second transfer 50k. He couldnt think on why and how I did.
He said He will apply in evening.
I went to the branch in evening with Samosa's, Treated them, asked them to issue the second DC. Boom, he also took 120 seconds and applied.
Thats the real story. 😀
In form, they ask if joint a/c holder wants the second DC. I stupidly did not apply for joint account with my wife.
I went now and applied for converting to joint account. Two of them were like Cent Queen can't be given to a man as a joint a/c. I said my friend had it in cent queen account itself with his wife and that I had read it online and come. They were like we will convert to regular savings and then add your name to it. I was like try first and see and it can be done. Then I asked to apply for debit card and they were like NOO CANNOT BE DONE! And I was like its okay, its chargeable for joint a/c. Then they calmed down. Idk what they will do. All this drama just gave me second hand embarrassment and I should never have gone to convert it. Now they might even cancel wife's Cent Queen status.
Guys, its not worth it.

Thank you! They have tons of Cent Queen brochures, but I couldn't find these t&cs anywhere either there or on the website. Anyway, I will just let it be if they don't change a/c variant of wife even if they don't add me as a joint holder. I don't wanna deal with their employees again who act like they work at actual CBI and not a bank abbreviated as CBI. They need all the new customers they can get. They have no customers from the looks of it.

I'll just let it slide. I feel sorry for them. The branch is in shambles.

Charged fees every year for a debit card that wasn't even activated for 4-5 yrs and took 177rs as hotlist charges when I blocked that card. I complained to give back the 177rs atleast.
BM has the audacity to email me that the debit card was used multiple times and the bank has every right to take money for hotlisting. Probably didn't know its from the new debit card that was issued last month.
