Closure of AU SF account

Hi all did anyone closed AU small finance bank savings account recently?
What’s the way to do it digitally pls guide

Call AU customer care to deactivate value added sms alerts and block debit card to avoid annual charges and you can keep this account without paying any charges.

Works like a charm.

Now I don't have to visit bank. Thanks a lot for helping to avoid so much hassle

NSDL is charging monthly service fee and it can not be turned off.

21st March of every year ,Au deducted annual charges for debit card in my Au digital savings account..as they already has deducted my AMC of DC, so will continue since February 2025,.then will raise closure request..
They even increase AMC of debit card from 177 to 234

Now it has been increased to ₹299+gst 😐

Debit card is pretty useless now, they have excluded the rupay debit card on all the partner offers on swiggy and zomato and also increased the debit card charges

Their interest rates are very low compared to small finance banks

Give call to their support and say that u r moving abroad within 2 days we get account closed confirmation

I had tried visiting branch and closing account - however branch people behaved like sarkari babus. Hence cleared out the account and they have been deducting 590 every month for 4-5 months. It's now a social experiment for me to see how long they wait before they themselves beg me to close it.

Hi, did you take out all fund before placing the call for account closure? Actually, Me and my wife we both have digital savings account in same branch with same phone number linked to both accounts.

Yes I moved all funds out easily since I had upi enabled

Tried closing the account through customer care, they asked to visit branch or take video banking. Video banking services are not opening both on Aubank mobile app or the website.

Anyway to solve the issue? maybe through email?

I am okay keeping the bank account, but dont want to pat any kind of charges like sms and dc charges. Is it possible to close the card through cc and i wont have pay any charges?

I got it. A service request number and detail mentioning non registration of SMS banking. @Strange

May i know what will happen after deactivation??
