Credit Card bill generated of 87k statements add to 30k

since the month of october 2023 im using a icici bank coral card. Since the past one month recovery agents have been coming to my residence for payment so i asked them give me a day to check my statements. So i exported fy23 24 statement and it shows that transactions made and statement generated do not add up to the same value. I wrote a email to their greivance redressal they said its computer generated hence they are fool proof. Today morning a guy called himself an RM even had bank id came to my place to verify the bill i received and bill from their backend they said some transactions are missing in my bill but the transactions have been made. They asked me to give them 2 3 days and then ill be asked to come to the head office of my city (kolkata) and resolve this issue. What should i do? (I have already filed a complaint through ombudsman)

because from past two months i had a deficit in money. so i paid minimum and now i dont even have money to pay minimum so i went through my statements.

hmmm. It is hard to say who is in the wrong since we can't see the statement. I would say just accumulate statements and proof and present it to PNO with your thoughts and tell us what they reply

btw they don't have the authority to ask you to come to the head office or anything. Don't let them bully you, next time tell them not to come to your house or you'll call the police.

i wrote to grievance they denied my statement is wrong and then i went straight to ombudsman

It's still hard to say, since maybe the interest added up to 30k? You seem to be in the right and if they are actually quoting transaction which are not in the statement then you should not be paying that.

this is very weird. Let's see what they say in 2-3 days. If they are not able to pinpoint the extra 30k in the cc statement then you definitely won't have to pay so don't worry about that.

even if it did then it doesn't matter to you. How would you know about their backend? A user can only pay what is written in his statement and nothing else. Simple as that.

If you see no progress, then have visit it and check what the problem is, remember that it is not your fault and you are in no way obliged to do what they say.
