Credit Card Bill Payment from HDFC Bill Pay not reflecting at ICICI Side

I payed my icici credit card bill from HDFC debit card (via HDFC bill pay) on 30th April and I also got confirmation from HDFC that my payment is successfully processed.

The last date for my credit card bill was 3rd May and till now the payment is not reflecting in the app or statement. Will this be counted as a defaulted payment as it still not realized at icici side.

Can I do something about this as I have never made late payment, and this will impact my CIBIL score badly. Please help.

As per RBI Guidelines, you have a 3-day grace period. So, if your due date is 3rd May, you have time until 6th May, which is today.

If your payment hasn't reflected by tonight, it will be counted as a late payment. You'll have to pay a fine, and it will be reported in your CIBIL as well.

Thanks. After your suggestion, I made the payment again from CRED and got confirmation from ICICI within 30 minutes. Hopefully now it won't be counted towards late payment.

There's no condition. Since your payment has been updated today, you hopefully won't incur any charges.

Hi Ares, i am facing the same issue. I paid an amount of 1 lakh towards my ICICI credit card through my HDFC debit card via HDFC BILL PAY on 1st MAY 2024, the payment was successful got the transaction reference number as well.But the Payment is not reflecting in my Credit card statement till date i.e., 6th MAY 2024.
I tried contacting both HDFC and ICICI banks but there is no response from either sides. HDFC is claiming that transaction was successful from their end whereas ICICI is claiming that they havent received any payment. I am not knowing how to get this issue resolved!

Some issue happening from HDFC Bill pay portal. I am facing issue with my Citi Credit Card Payment. I have made payment on 30th April and yet to reflect to Citi Card.

I see that quite a few people are having this issue. Seems like HDFC bill pay is having some problems from their side. Can't say for sure what's the issue here. When I tried today with CRED, the payment was received by ICICI within 30 minutes.

Cred works with IMPS transfer system. But HDFC uses BBPS, seems some issue with settlement.

If there are any due date issue, please pay that amount using CRED again to avoid CIBIL issues in future (Know it's tough but it is how it is) - Please note you have 3 days grace period too.

I also posted the same query today afternoon. Paid on 2nd May and still it was not reflected. But just now received the confirmation mail and message from ICICI that the amount is credited in CC. It normally takes 3-5 days to settle.

Paid MAD for ICICI card via HDFC bill pay, yesterday morning. Got confirmation from ICICI this evening. 36 hours approximately.

For me, credited today evening.. done on 2nd May.. date reflected in unbilled tranx is 2nd..

I made payment 1 may till morning payment not reflect but I am sure and confidence that the end of day 100% payment will reflect and end of day amount credited and reflect.

One more thing always make cc payment 7 days before due date via hdfc bill portal.

Weird. I too used HDFC BillPay to clear dues for my Amazon Pay and Coral card. The payment was made on 02nd and today I got the confirmation email from ICICI that the payment has been received.

If you wanna use methods like hdfc billpay then pay atleast a week before due date.
