Credit card showing as dormant account in HSBC mobile app

I got my HSBC cashback card in last week of January. I created pin and activated the card today only. But in HSBC mobile app it shows dormant account below my credit card. What is the issue here? I have not made any transactions yet using it.

Same issue with my card received card done online transaction but show dormant

keep patience, it will take some time to show as active card.

That’s just status update issue. Card will be active, HSBC database takes a while to update. 🙂

IMO it's a type of internal satisfaction that everything thing is ok to them & their card.

I used my card physically twice, contactless, but it still shows as Dormant, even after three days. Due to this, I'm unable to make online transactions. What a ridiculous rule! The support team says I can make online transactions only if it becomes active. Fucking stupid. Any idea what to do?
