I loaded coupl wallet using sbi cashback card 4 days back. Txn settled . Merchant name - Coupl . Did not get cashback. So ultimately paid extra charges. Waste

Yeah same ! I even had the option to get refund . As I added Rs 1 midway , so 9999 max can be added . And my top up txn was 10k .

Coupl founder personally called me as I had escalated multiple times . Apologized for the whole Payment Gateway mess .

Explained that settlement of Coupl works on 15 min timeframe with Cashfree (Payment Gateway partner) . But due to a technical glitch, 10 lacs was stuck with PG over the weekend.

He provided me the option that he can manually credit 9999 to my wallet or I can take 10k refund . Had I earlier known that MCC has changed, I would have opted for refund !!

The banks put pressure on these new startup apps to change the MCC to wallet or some other banned category, so that they don't have to pay cashback or points

I am trying to add 10k in coupl wallet via upi cc , but in payment page it shows 10,017.17 .. who is charging this 17.17 extra .. also is coupl allowing to pay cc bill using coupl wallet now as well without any charges ?

I also received this. We all use coupl for BBPS only 🤣
