DCB Diners Club Tools and Travel App - Priority pass Digital membership

I have a DCB card. While logging in Diners Club Tools and Travel app in the personalized section, I am being redirected to priority pass account. If I enter my card details there will I be charged?

Diners Club FAQ is unclear, HDFC bank Customer Care says Priority pass is anyway not required. So just wanted to understand if I will be charged or not?

Diners app showed 080 but the folks at the counter denied entry saying only PP / Amex etc. is accepted. This was 6-7 months back.

Well don't know which city exactly (saw a thread). My only point was, why does Diners App have PP Online account embedded inside the app, did not understand logic behind it..if diners in itself works across lounges.

Should not be a problem as both are separate. The only concern I have is that, in this virtual PP, if one tries searching for lounges in India, it doesn't show any results. So, if this virtual PP will be free or will be charged later is the question.

Today I received my alumni-based DCB LTF. I downloaded the Diner Club tool and on accessing the lounge tab, it was asking me to register to access the lounge.
Registering is taking me to the priority pass screen.
I have 3 queries:
1. Is PP eligible for alumni-based DCB?
2. Is PP free for alumni-based DCB? The reason Im asking is it is asking me to accept the renewal charges for PP.
3. I dont have any last name in my DCB CC. Should I keep both first name and last name as my first name. Will that be an issue?

There will be a option to register in the lounges tab in the bottom.

Don't know about single name, you can try using single name.

It's tricky. Try to see if you can proceed with "." It would be better than repeating the first name twice.

No annual charges, just one time refundable authorisation charge of $1.

PP in domestic lounge is paid. 27 USD plus GST.
But PP membership fee is not mentioned anywhere. Thats why Im confused
