Taking the example of SBI Cashback Card, if I get another add-on card for my son/daughter, will I get 5000x2= 10000/- every month as cashback?; Assuming I do cumulative transactions worth 2 lakhs a month.

Don't assume, read MITC document!!Apologies for my naivety, but isn't an add on card bundled with the same offers as that of the primary card.
I would assume the add on SBI Cashback Card to also be eligible for a cashback of 5% allowing for a max total of 10k along with the primary card.

I did read it; couldn't find any point that explicitly denies or confirms this scenario.Don't assume, read MITC document!!
Have a great learning day.
Okay... Here you go.I did read it; couldn't find any point that explicitly denies or confirms this scenario.
The only significant point related to add on cards is just that the cashback earned on the add on cards will instead be credited into the primary card holder's bucket.
The total issued cards would be around 1/10 of total cards that are available nowHad this been the case, India would go back to joint families. Card in the name of father, Grandfather etc..
