Am thinking to close one card at this point lol , worst reward rate not so great offers. This is stopping me from taking core fed cards. What do you guys think ?
My suggestion is also same. Better you can close it and apply for Core card. In future, you can get OneCard from other banks such as BoB, SBM, CBS etc.

At around 9:30pm, I started applying federal card for my father. As I entered all the required details, it showed celesta card with 5 Lakhs limit and after that it asked for address for card dispatch address and confirm the name to be printed on the card, then it followed by Vkyc, in which the executive asked so Many questions from my father, he even asked" aapke pan wali photo kitne saal purani hai"... How does that even makes sense😂😂, after that he told my father that you will recieve the card in 7-10 working days but I am not sure whether to believe him or not. So now, the question is whether the card will be approved or it may get declined after Vkyc?
If anyone can help from his prior experience, it will be helpful.
Thanks🙂
So this means the card is approved?
As I am unable to see virtual card in fed mobile application ( it gives an option to apply for a credit card) PXL_20230907_143035683~2.jpg

You can see Virtual card and start using it until you get Physical Card
But the problem is, i can't see virtual card in the application, i am getting this page from yesterday morning.
I have tried multiple times to register in the app itself, but all in vein.
Also, can you please tell how much time does it take to deliver the physical card (approximately)?

Card will take 7 to 10 days . Uninstall and reinstall the app again. If not works, wait until tomorrow

This is from Federal CC Support. I asked them if I can apply for any of their cards.

So if you're holding ANY Co-branded Federal CC, then don't waste your time or damage your credit report. This I received today only!

Update: So I asked them if I can close the co-branded card from OneCard and apply for a standalone card directly from Federal and here's what they said:

So if you're holding any co-branded card and wish to obtain a card directly. Then you can cancel existing and wait for 90 days before applying directly. They do seem to have only 1 card policy but this is good, at least we can make a switch if required.

Edit: I think the best way forward is to close OneCard and then obtain directly after 90 days. After Federal reports to CIBIL, apply again with OneCard, this time automatically they will know you hold Federal card and will assign other partner bank. But this needs to be confirmed with OneCard whether we can apply again later if we close now (with some reason).
