Scapia is back! After a long pause in issuing new cards due to the RBI's ban and a sudden massive credit limit decrease, Scapia has returned with its co-branded credit card in partnership with Federal Bank.


One major drawback earlier was that existing Federal Bank credit card holders couldn’t apply for a Scapia card. However, that issue may have now been resolved, and even those with a Federal Bank credit card can apply, as few could have successfully applied & gotten Approval, though many faced rejection.

I contacted them over email for reason of rejection - they sent a vague response with "internal policies" reason. I linked to RBI circular and asked for exact reason.. they replied with even a vaguer reply without even replacing my reference number and date 😛

I too got the same vague response. Tried emailing multiple times after but same thing.

Anyone with Au Ixigo should not be applying this card just because of FOMO
Au Ixigo gives 2% Reward on Forex transactions also your card is eligible for all Au offers

Scapia has 0 rewards on Forex and not eligible for Federal card offers.

AU is reliable as it has 1 card policy. It doesn't give more than 1 to anyone.
Whereas Federal is giving more than 1 to lot of people & denying other folks that you already have a card. So this is unreliable.

My context is that i applied for AU and they approved & i received the card....Suddenly they cancelled it without any reason

On my wife's card, they applied charges which they are not able to explain from last 2 months (RBI complaint is pending)

Very few handful people with core Fed card are getting 2nd card. It's because their system is not in sync. As per Fed bank policy they issue only 1 card. Even they are not able to explain how some people are getting multiple cards.

Is this the best LTF card for 0% forex fees or there is a better option ?

Au Ixigo is better
1) RP redemption has options such as GC purchase.
2) Works as core Au Bank card, login to Au bank app and manage it.
3) Bank directly offers support. Don’t need to call Ixigo for any issues, directly deal with Au bank.
4) You can get Addon card for family members at 0 cost.
5) You get Priority pass
6) Card works on all Au bank offers

None of the above is offered with Scapia. Federal bank treats you like 3rd party contract customer and will ask you to speak with Scapia support for any issues.
