Few Suggestions for Air India SBI Signature Card and also need some help on booking family tickets

Hi,

I am holding Sbi air India CC.
I think its quite good underrated card. However there are few issues with this card. Few I solved, for few I need help.

1. Application gets rejected: apply offline through official agent, or from airport. It will be approved.
2. FFP is not linked with card: simply crwate it on airindia and email SBI nodal officer, he will ask for 1k/2k points and get it linked.
3. To book flight by points, u need first flight to be booked on ur name: we can book for an small destination.

Question is: if u want to book familys tickets, u first need to book 5 revenue flights (using CC/upi/ etc, means without points)
Is there any workaround for this? Air India is asking too much here.

Overall its awesome card, any spends gives 4 air India miles ( even wallet load gave me points) for flight booking 10-30 miles per 100₹

he revnue flights doesnt have a turnaround,
because the portal wont let you redeem miles until then

Can I book any star alliance points using flying returns? If so how? and what is the conversion chart? For example, I mean how many flying returns are required to get say one Turkish miles&smiles?
