My 1st phone Gionee M2(still had it but dead)
As a kid 1st experience of mobile & sim in family is motorola Tata CDMA Sim based phone(still have them but they’re not working[2 mobiles])
& of course Good Old BSNL Landline

Descending odd numbers....

Paid Rs 14/- per minute for Incoming calls n for Outgoing calls. Even 1 extra second was billed as extra 1 minute.

Used to call STD @ half rate after 8PM and quarter rate after 11 PM. Remember OYT ?

I took both in same month, Uninor ported to Vi, Jio, BSNL and Airtel 😅
BSNL stayed the same.

Used to call STD @ half rate after 8PM and quarter rate after 11 PM. Remember OYT ?

We had OYT landline. Those days, I was staying alone in Delhi while my family was in Kolkata. Used to stay awake till 11 pm and then queue up at the STD booth. Then calling home with the eyes fixed on the seconds meter.
