Got 2nd Magnus Burgundy

35 ER points accelerated edge points for spending above 1.5L per month. 17.5 per 100, with 5:4, translates to 14 partner points per 100 rupees spent. With accor, 1.8 rupees per point translates to 25.2%. This is for all spends made above 1.5L per month subject to the 2L points transfer limit for group A partners
Finally. Someone sensible who knows math's and does not wait for others to spoonfeed.

Maybe @magnusfan should learn and do some of ur own research.

Always DYOR. Don't rely on others.

So, it's Accor only! Thanks!

1st is ltf, this is paid.

Already got Atlas, but MB is better than any card in the market.

Straight up 20-22% Return Rate.
A 20-22% return is achievable only when redeeming points for miles or hotel bookings—not as cashback or gift cards. Moreover, this card is not ideal for annual spends below ₹10 lakhs. It’s a good option if offered as a lifetime free card, but the paid version, in my opinion, is not worth it. A better alternative would be the HDFC Infinia card.

Infinia is a joke in front of MB.

This is the most over powered card. Cashback and Gift card are useless when I am getting bareminimum 14% to maximum of 25.2% in my travels.

Infinia cannot even give 10%, let alone 14....25.2 is out of question.

Is it just me or is this is the most annoying thread to read through 🙄
Kind of meant to be when people just assume they gonna get all the answer.

The point of the thread is simple.

You can get 2 magnus without any kind of eligibility.

The problem here is everyone is so focused on assuming. Assuming how one can get 25.2% or how i will not get 2nd set of group A points or how do I spend so much or if I rotate credit.

The whole point of this thread was to tell people that you can get 2nd magnus Burgundy. But so far no one asked how.

They are only busy in telling me how I will not make use of the card or how I am an idiot to get magnus.

As if they know my spends and my plans better than me.

If one expects me to teach them how to spend their money or how to rotate credit or do allegations then I can bet on it that it will get annoying, I will make it annoying.

Apart from that whenever anyone asked any sort of question which is not freely or easily available, I have replied.

Actually, yes, wanted to know whether the second card is also under your name or a family member's.

Wifes.

The only requirement Axis had was to keep 30lk in her account till 1st OGS and Cibil has to be over 700.

Kept amount on 29th Oct, OGS generated on 4th, RM sent guy on 5th for the card, 12th got confirmation that it is processed.

She had other Axis card too VI & Atlas. And my addonn magnus. guy said to close addonn magnus or else this will be rejected. so closed.

Her limit jumped from 1.68lk to 10lk. Which is surprisingly higher than me. Her max limit was on kotak for 6lk I reckon.

Now if all of this was mentioned in the first post instead of 4 pages later, it would have been great!!
Would have saved so much if time as well!

Does this card offer more than 17% on flight ticket bookings as well? Using Infina, SmartBuy displays the cheapest flight options comparable to SkyScanner, and we also get 16.6% on top of it.

Yes through traveledge but prices are a bit more. Currently burg private and burg magnus are best cards out there much better than infinia

In fact with 5x in traveledge, M4B offers 43.2% if transferred transferred to Accor.
On paper, yes. But in my experience, travel edge is mostly inflated by 10-11% if you are booking for 3-4 people together. This is despite all cookie clearing and incognito and all

Of so many flights I booked, I almost always end up with Smartbuy Infinia or direct airline with Atlas

Even at that rate, its cheaper than Infnia.
No man... I don't fall in the camp of people who are willing to pay 10-11% extra cash to get some additional reward points. Even by skipping these travel edge bookings, I have enough points on Accor than I can consume at this point 🙂

BTW, with 10% inflation, Traveledge comes down to 14% only. It is not better than Infinia. And I don't consider Accor as 1:1.8, for all practice purposes it is 1:1 only for me as Accor fares have become expensive off late

Edit: ITC is 24%-10% = 14% as per my calculations and it is not better than Infinia at 33%. Accor is debatable, as similar category hotels will be available at cheaper rate when booked on smartbuy Infinia, which itself gives 33% on hotels
