I applied for my mother as add on 11th April at our nearest branch, and he said that my mother would get the add on card in 7 working days. On 20th April I called CC and asked if the employee has submitted the documents, but surprisingly no such formalities were done from the bank employee's side. CC asked me to contact the branch about the matter.
On 21th I visited the bank but the BM said that the employee was not there and asked for my number, so that she can call back as soon as he returns. She never called back so i wrote an email to HDFC bank grievance team but even they have not replied to me yet.
So technically my card and personal details and my mom's aadhar, pan and drivers license details have been mismanaged by HDFC, and now they are not even replying to my mails. What should I do next?
It frustrates me to the core that HDFC asks me to send letters till date for such stuff which could be done online. The say they do it for security reasons, and now have lost my personal details in the progress.
Edit:- I got a reply from their end, after i made an rbi ombudsman complaint and the person who handles the add on documents responded directly to me. As per him no documents were submitted by the person to whom i gave documents. When we took him on call he straight up lied to his senior that he submitted the documents and will check his bag again if he has it. This call was done two days ago and as per our call, the senior ordered the hdfc employee to submit the documents personally at my homw while video calling him. Till now i haven't received the documents from him.
