HDFC Bank has launched new Payzapp application with new features and good UI

Checked every corner. Other apps also has those. Maybe it lacks on rewards as of now.

Does old PayZapp allow credit card payment?
Does old app allow to see and manage HDFC cards?
This app works smoothly than old app. Scan & Pay works well. UPI transfer also good.
Well categorised Smartbuy section.
Many Axis cards support here which didn't support on old app
I think you didn't check all these.

Thats what I am saying. For non-hdfc members, still only mini-kyc. It works smooth, has more features than previous one. But it all comes down to rewards. Aren't we here in this forum to maximize the rewards? Think about it.

What kind of rewards you expect from Hdfc Bank? They already devalued their cards. Once I used to receive upto Rs 200 cashback for bill payments from PayZapp. But they reduced all rewards to Rs 30. So, I stopped using PayZapp.
I found some new features good in new PayZapp, so I use this app. PayZapp is not good for rewards and cashback.
Let's wait and see what will happen in New Financial Year

The main thing about this update is allowing usage of magnus like cards which was not possible in earlier app. So this was very useful update for lots of people especially in this forum where people was complaining about using magnus card for redgiraffe payment.
Used the trick and got the new PayZapp
It was kind of useful atleast for me. New Payzapp allowed me to make one last rent payment via Magnus card, which was not possible before due to Magnus Payzap issues. I use redgiraffe via Payzapp
Till Dec it was Inifinia, then Jan onwards it was StanC ultimate. This time it was Magnus (last and the only time). Next time onwards it will be StanC Ultimate again

If i'm not wrong, redgiraffe rent payments were considered as insurance payments and magnus card considers insurance payments for milestone benefit. Only thing insurance payments are not considered for regular rewards, but will benefit in overall milestone criteria.
While this is correct, There is always a risk.
Banks can later on withdraw points once their systems are set up properly. HDFC DCB/Infinia is also giving points currently on payzap / redgiraffe combo, however they can pull back the points later on as well. It has happened in the past with HDFC and with SBI it happened recently (in different context, but they pulled back the points later on earned during amazon sale)
There is no devaluation for insurance payments(other than 6k ER cap) for magnus post 5th March as per the affluent document.

I think it is not applicable for Amazon and FK vouchers. You can try like this, simply add Rs 500 Swiggy voucher and select payment as Payzapp wallet, there you will find option to apply coupon code. But remember to load your wallet before starting a transaction
*** I checked now and this offer is available for train and bus booking also....
