HDFC Bank Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card Launched

I got my MB hdfc card a month ago. I even swiped immediately for more than 500 bucks to kick in welcome benefits but till date the benefits are not reflecting in my account. I had mentioned my existing mb number when I applied for card but still it's not done. When I called customer care the person was clueless and said wait for 6 weeks. Even then nothing happened. Now I had written to customer care email and to my surprise they replied saying that benefits were credited to my mb number on 9th sep and number mentioned by them (starting 3 digits and middle two digits) was not matching with my mb number. I am guessing they created a new mb number despite me giving them my original mb number. I have replied to them why they did that what is this new mb number where they credited. My question to everyone here is that how to resolve this? Has anyone else faced similar issues? I got more than 100k points in my original mb account and now hdfc has screwed up by creating new membership number about which I have no idea- no email received for new number. How to get this new number and is there a way to merge the account? 😕
Already discussed few times here. I also had same issue.

Go to marriott.com go to login and click forget membership, use your hdfc email.

Your new marriott bonvoy membership will be sent to your email. Check my post above, to activate your account. You can also download the bonvoy app as well. Set new password as well.

After more than a month of new membership, you can request merger of both bonvoy account by filling an online form. Then you can choose which membership to keep. All your old + new points will be reflecting in the membership account that you choose to keep. Old membership will be deleted permanently.
