TechnoFino Opinion:
This credit card, jointly offered by HDFC Bank and Marriott International, is quite basic. The earning rate isn't particularly impressive, with numerous excluded categories where you won't earn rewards. The free night award can only be redeemed for room rates of up to 15k points or less, which is quite disappointing. Additionally, you can't combine award night bookings with cash, but you do have the option to redeem or purchase up to 15,000 additional Marriott Bonvoy Points to enhance the value of your free award night, which is a positive aspect in my view. It would have been better if they had offered a free night award of up to 30k points at the least.
Overall, this card falls into the average category. The reward system is intricate, and despite reasonable caps, I would personally prefer a simpler card. Personally, I'll be avoiding this credit card.

FNA (only 15k pts) without spend is only a welcome gift not recurring like Chase Boundless card. RR is also very low. Pretty mediocre :/

So many exclusion when the network provider Diners is already an exclusion. Where are we suppose to spend on the card?

If ICICI launches the card in the Visa + Emralde category then it will have better benefits and a higher membership tier.

One free night + Silver tier isn't bad. It's like Axis Samsung Infinite where people got it for a Joining bonus and closed it before renewal. This card fits that category.
