HDFC Billpay is showing Invalid card number for Platinum debit card

Hi
I am trying to pay my ICICI credit card via HDFC Android app billpay using my Platinum debit card.
But it is showing Invalid card number. Both ICICI card and HDFC platinum card numbers are correct.
Any idea?

Yesterday when I tried I was facing same issue. But when retried 5-6 times payment was successful

I think this is a temporary technical glitch. My friend uses bill pay and he has faced similar issue when the system throws error, but after an hour or around, it allows the card.

Try paying amount of 10 rupee if it works then try multiple payment of 9000 ..
I paid bill of 72000 of same card from net banking and Android app both.. in multiple if 9000

i don't have a bill to be paid before 27-28th so would check then.. i prefer netbanking via laptop so you gave shot via both method. not sure what happening here. i hope it resolved for you and if others are facing soon.

I tried 10, 500 from app yesterday it worked and this 9000, 9001, 9002...9010 from net banking.. i always pay different amount so that it's easier to track in case of any issue

There is a temporary glitch in HDFC app however bill payment doesn't show any error through HDFC Netbanking website.

I faced same problem on mobile banking but was able to pay using net banking

I paid today bill of sbi simplyclick it went through netbanking. I prefer using on laptop.
