HDFC Credit card Closure and Reapplying

I am holding HDFC Millennia card with 1L limit since past 3 years, NO LE, whereas my other card limits are between 5-7L.
Anyone here closed HDFC card and applied for New card?
How many months cool off and did you get higher limit?

Waiting for 6 months is too much - also I do not want to close my current card - as it has long credit history - don't want to lose that.
Upgrades via RM/BM is possible? Say Moneyback -> Millenia OR Millenia -> Regalia/Regalia Gold OR Millenia/Regalia -> DCB

Why you are closing it?

Hdfc gives 2 cards na, apply one more your limit will be merged.

Cancel your wished card transfer it's limit to your wished card.

2 core cards? I thought 2nd card would be Tata neu or something. One of my friends applied for Millenia but was rejected as he already had HDFC Indian oil card. Do we need any special approvals for getting 2 core HDFC cards?

+1 on this question. I know it's difficult but recall someone one this forum has Regalia + DCB or Infinia

Hoping to get some comfirmation. I'm eyeing for DCB but want to retain LTF Regalia as well

i tried making my tata neu plus ltf but denied .. can anyone say what if i close the card .. 1. What will the app show (tata neu) ?
2. Can i reapply it ?
3. How much time to wait to reapply(in terms of bank policy) ?
4. How much time apps take to again let me reapply ?
And yes i have 100k limit merged with moneyback ltf

2. Yeah you can apply
3. for hdfc it's 3 months
4. If you closed in Jan, in may you can see in neu app to reapply.

can anyone tell me, do we get pre approved credit card offers again if we close our current card.
i closed all the hdfc cards recently, and i just we can apply offline again anytime, but i want to know do we get pre approved card offers again ?

also in neu app, it isn't showing anything now, do we get option to apply again after some months ?

I don't think neu can be applied again... The only thing stopping me from closing this card to get core card 🥲

And yes you will receive pre-approved offers in next 5-6 months.. (confirmed from other member on different forum)

And please tag me if you get any offer 🙏

but we can again apply neu card, i read somewhere in the forum, someone closed neu plus, and after some months he was able to apply for neu infinity.
looks like there is some cooldown period for neu app for new card application.
