HDFC denying conversion to RuPay

HDFC has stopped conversion of their credit cards from Visa/MasterCard to RuPay for Regalia and Regalia First credit cards.

I too got Rupay regalia conversion over email.. But rewards rate on regalia is not even 1%.. But one good thing is they have few exceptions and 1st rent payment is also without any charges.. Though mine is LTF so don't need rent payment tricks etc

I have moneyback+ mc variant. last week, Request of conversation to rupay was taken over call but after 2 days I got call from back-end team and they saying conversion is not possible
