HDFC diners black - International transaction rewards

Hi,
Recently I have used HDFC diners black card for some transactions in dubai. I got reward points for all transactions except two. unfortunately one of them is a large purchase which is for the hotel. I have paid for hotel upon arrival in Dubai. The statement generated today did not give any reward points.

Any idea why this might have happened?

Also what should be my course of action now?

This is the screen shot of the transaction in statement. Ideally i should have got 2590 rewards.


There is one more transaction where I havent received but thats ok since it is small amount. Should have got 150 rewards here.


I got rewards for every other transaction.

I got rewards for every other transaction.

Call customer care & know the MCC of these merchants first.

Once you know, check if you're eligible for rewards on that MCC as per terms.

If eligible raise complaint in HDFC Bank.

Called customer care the said merchant was apparently categorised as property agency and hence this transaction was marked as rent payment.

I said i have invoice to show that this is hotel payment. They said they will check and issue reward points. Yet to get confirmation.
