Just Received an email for Limit Enhancement for my HDFC Millennia.From 3.4 L to 4.4L

What does this mean? Is it like apply for manual LE?

it will hit cibil as far as I know if you proceed. Edit : I may be wrong, hdfc credit limit experts saying otherwise.

Why do many banks including HDFC roll out card upgrades or LEs but do not intimate the user through mail or message? If the user doesn’t check, it’s gone!

As @shrewdoc mentioned it is a central location where you check if any pre-approved LE exists for your account or not..
In my view, there won't be any CIBIL hit..
It is not for applying for LE...

Apply later, might get better limit.

Started with 40k @ 2019 and got LE often till 2021 with 2.8L and it stopped forever

P.S. Just found out that no LE after PAID(Moneyback) upgrade to LTF(Regalia)

Did you stop your spending after converting to LTF card? Or maybe if you have a savings account you are not maintaining enough funds.

Hdfc gives LE according to card usage. It's not like icici who gives LE to literally zero usage users and not to high spenders.

Yup..only minimal card usage. No savings a/c.
But after i got HDFC RUPAY UPI card my spending got increased. Let me wait and watch.

That upi cc is the worst cc in india no other cc gives rewards lesser than 0.5%. Its better to use either axis kiwi or kotak myntra rupay.

Can you share about your usage type? Very high spending or average or low spendings?

Not high but because of rupay it's 2-4k on average. So around 1.5-2% of my existing limit
Edit: In a particular cycle however it was around 20-25k few months back
