HDFC Max upgrade case

Okay so in short
I tried to upgrade my account to savings max online but failed zillion of times
Visited Branch (29 october) : Staff too much self obsessed and daydreaming, so he said, "Do it yourself online"!
Complained online(LEVEL-1) again they said to visit branch!
Finally reached out PNO quoted all of this!
Furthermore, as appropriate restitution for the undue mental harassment, repeated inconvenience, and systemic neglect I have endured, I requested compensation of INR 20,000.
Call came from branch (say, from person P1) strictly said them to send some person home for upgrade! He will be visiting overmorrow!
So what should be my next step to get closer to compensation since I don't want to close the case as it is, at least, not because of their system(s) failure!

EDIT-1 : 18-Nov-24 : No one visited today and SMS came that issue is resolved! Will call P1 tomorrow!
EDIT-2 : 19-Nov-24 : Posted another mail to PNO! Received reply at 11:46pm that they have acknowledged my issue and will get back to me till 25th of November!
EDIT-3 : 20-Nov-24 : Following the email a person was sent by P1 who visited my home did paperwork and afterwards I received an account conversion request reference number on mail too!
EDIT-4 : 22-Nov-24 : Account finally converted to savings max!
NOW, branch does my work on priority haha!

But even @sjmajumder 's case was solved still he raised with RBIO and got 20k
The severity of both cases is completely different. He faced a financial loss by buying currency at higher rates. If Axis hadn’t made such stupid mistakes, he could have enjoyed his trip or office work without such concerns.

Your case: You wanted to upgrade your account to Savings Max and tried the online method, but it didn’t work.

When you went to the branch, they told you to do it online, but did you try meeting the BM and explaining that you were unable to complete the process online and needed to do it offline? plus the staff isn't helping? If he still ignored you or your request, you would have had a solid case to escalate. It was win-win.

You’re still free to raise it. I don’t work for RBIO, so my replies are based on what I’ve seen.

yes direct rbi would have been fun..but it would be time consuming too..pno is pretty quick..for small cases..i wouldf have consider pno only..mental peace

You cannot approach RBIO directly without going through banks levels. If the resolution isn't given by banks or not to your liking then only RBIO will assist.
 
Depends on luck sometimes. But it feels awkward to file rbi case just for money even after resolution
Money is never my objective but unfortunately that is the only way bank's can be penalized, that's the only way they realize they have wronged us. Issue resolved, true but what about the unnecessary harassment I had to go through? Do you know how it feels to borrow money from people for no fault of mine???

Ideally, and something I always do, approach PNO before going to RBIO. You need not go through all levels, you can directly mail to PNO.

Please share additional details with dates and events. Since your problem is resolved, getting compensation will depend upon what you had to go through. Again it will depend completely on RBIO and no one has any say in that but we can make our best guess if you share more details.

No problem isn't resolved ye the person will visit today 3 pm!

What I have done till now is just asked him to send the man at home and nothing else!

Its not about it but I'm just learning and taking views from different people for future references, for protecting my rights, and its not necessary i'll go to RBI, I am just taking experience and learning when to go to RBI and when to not!
Its a learning process please don't misunderstand me, my friend!

1.They delayed account opening for 15days
2. Changed my account variant to masterstroke without my consent
3. Made me visit branch 5 times despite having premium account. Which made a lot inconvenience
4. Promised credit card getting delayed due to employee absence
5. Kit not getting dispatched
6. Mobile banking, internet banking options not working due to their glitch

So in this regard, I should demand 1LAKH From BOB🤣
