HDFC Max upgrade case

kuchbhi

TF Ace
Okay so in short
I tried to upgrade my account to savings max online but failed zillion of times
Visited Branch (29 october) : Staff too much self obsessed and daydreaming, so he said, "Do it yourself online"!
Complained online(LEVEL-1) again they said to visit branch!
Finally reached out PNO quoted all of this!
Furthermore, as appropriate restitution for the undue mental harassment, repeated inconvenience, and systemic neglect I have endured, I requested compensation of INR 20,000.
Call came from branch (say, from person P1) strictly said them to send some person home for upgrade! He will be visiting overmorrow!
So what should be my next step to get closer to compensation since I don't want to close the case as it is, at least, not because of their system(s) failure!

@sjmajumder

EDIT-1 : 18-Nov-24 : No one visited today and SMS came that issue is resolved! Will call P1 tomorrow!
EDIT-2 : 19-Nov-24 : Posted another mail to PNO! Received reply at 11:46pm that they have acknowledged my issue and will get back to me till 25th of November!
EDIT-3 : 20-Nov-24 : Following the email a person was sent by P1 who visited my home did paperwork and afterwards I received an account conversion request reference number on mail too!
EDIT-4 : 22-Nov-24 : Account finally converted to savings max!
NOW, branch does my work on priority haha!

Few months ago, had similar experience with HDFC branch people.
My wife opened 3 savings accounts - for herself and 2 kids.
(My mistake that I had asked her to open accounts in HDFC. Could have asked her to go to ICICI).

She faced some issues with linking of mobile numbers. Kids mobile number got linked to her account. UPI stopped working etc.
Escalations didnt help. She was made to visit branch 3 times.
At the branch there was no proper attention, rude behavior and saw several people hanging for their problems.
And the worst, while checking HDFC bank app on her mobile phone, the staff asked for the PIN to login.
She got too furious and worried if her savings are safe with the bank (though it was a small amount of 3-4 lacs).

In frustration she went to the nearby branch of ICICI Bank. (Where I already had banking relationship).
The branch assigned a management trainee girl to visit our house next day and open 3 Wealth Management accounts.

Today, whenever my wife is going that side, she drops in to the ICICI Bank, just to say 'hi' to the people there... made some friends.
And normally she makes a call before going to the branch, (to the trainee girl who visited our home), and she generally says ' Mam, aapka apna bank hai. You are always welcome'.

@Ram1 they said in branch if you want we can give you platinum card right away but for millenia you will have to fill form with a cancelled cheque is this normal i'll have to visit again tomorrow and this time if they dont apply i'm going straight to BM cabin?

yesss happy happy
Nice, don’t take those cards because they won’t have your name printed on them.

Instead, apply for the card directly through net banking. Both cards are free for the Savings Max account, but the Platinum card is more expensive (just letting you know) because it offers higher rewards.

If they asks why? Tell them that you want your name printed on the card.

HDFC uses bluedart for delivery, so the card will arrive at your home within a few days that too with printed details.
