Millennia HDFC Millennia RuPay Credit card Launch | 6% to 12% on Amazon, 5%% Flipkart, Myntra, Sony LIV, Swiggy, Tata CLiQ, Uber, Zomato, BookMyShow, Cult.fit:

@Das.N can you DM the email you have sent to hdfc customer care and do we need to wait for this month statement generation. I have made purchase of around 8k in Amazon but got 176 reward points
You can contact HDFC customer care at customerservices.cards@hdfcbank.com.

In my case, after reviewing my spending for the previous calendar month, I noticed that HDFC credited reward points only for transactions under the 5% merchant category.

I had also used my card with other merchants (eligible for 1% rewards), but those points have not yet been credited. I believe they will be added eventually; if not, I’ll reach out to customer care for assistance.

Under the 5% category, I received reward points for the following transactions:

* Amazon Pay gift card purchases (direct card usage)
* Purchases on Amazon and Flipkart (via both UPI and direct card payments)

There are 2 types of SMS that I receive on the statement generation date which is 6th of the month, for my hdfc millenia visa.

Reward Points Credited: 100 To HDFC Bank Credit Card 6789 On 05/OCT/2025 Towards EARNED 1% Cashback on other spends.

Reward Points Credited: 500 To HDFC Bank Credit Card 6789 On 05/OCT/2025 Towards EARNED 5% CASHBACK_SELECT MERCHANTS

I reckon, they credit the 5% on the 1st week of the month. So, you may have to wait till Nov 1st week. When was your 8K on amzn settled ?
Yes but 5% cashback should have between 350 to 400. 8k payment is direct purchase in Amazon.

Is there any merchant name ASSPL(Amazon shopping via card) in your statement?

I got sms today 176 reward credit my statement generates on 20th of every month. I have converted my visa to rupay last month 😢
Yes, For Amazon gift card cashback is credited.

But somehow, 49 reward points are missing for my total statement value. I have to manually figure it out which transaction they excluded for reward points or ask them a excel sheet for each transaction's reward points calculation .

Yes, the 5% cashback didn’t come for the direct card transaction with the ASSPL merchant name.

However, the same merchant name can have multiple MCC codes — some people did receive 5% cashback for
ASSPL, since their MCC code was different.

Anyway, email HDFC to raise a complaint for manual 5% cb credit and ask them to fix it for future transactions — just like UPI 5% ashback, which now comes automatically for everyone.

They should also make ASSPL cashback automatic next time.

it’s not necessary that the issue is only with the ASSPL merchant name — just ask them once which transactions received cashback and which didn’t.

By the way, ASSPL stands for Amazon Seller Services Private Limited.

Please update here once you get confirmation.
My wife is using this Rupay variant and always got ASSPL merchant name in OTP page for payment using card details. Customer care confirm that MCC is 5399 and not eligible for 5% cash back.
I am using Visa variant now, will switch over to Rupay once issue is addressed.
Need to have 1 core card as back up as currently HDFC credit card offers are running.
Not sure — I need to get the transaction-wise cashback statement in Excel.

I haven’t yet come across the ASSPL merchant while using my Rupay Millennia credit card.

Last time, when I purchased an Amazon gift card using the ROARBANK Rupay credit card, this merchant appeared, and ROARBANK gave 5% cashback on that merchant under special Navratri Category.😂

From Rupay Millennia cc,Other than the Amazon gift card purchase, I’ve done every transaction on preferred merchants only through UPI. And yesterday received 1k cashpoint on preferred merchant.

HDFC Millennia Credit Card cashback isn’t based on MCC codes.

The 5% cashback is given based on terminal or merchant IDs (TIDs and MIDs).

Read here -
CashBack of 5% on 10 merchants are calculated basis the Terminal / merchant IDs (TIDs & MIDs) sharedby the respective merchant partners. If in case the TID / MID is not available in the set-up, suchtransactions will not qualify for the benefit.

Note - Agar terminal or merchant IDs "ASSPL" k liye eligible hai toh manually de dega aur nahi hua toh HDFC ko bolna hoga Amazon se verify kare and phir dega.

Everyone gives answers according to their own understanding. No one gives a clear answer.

Okay, let me explain -

Look, Mastercard is anti-India company and useless — you should change it.

Now, if you choose Visa, yes, you’ll get the TimesPrime membership. And another good thing is, the more people who claim TimesPrime, the sooner the offer will end. Right bro @6ix9ine ?

Now, coming to RuPay —

You’ll get 1% to 2% cashback on UPI transactions for other merchants, if you include milestones (total 2%).

For preferred merchants, you’ll even get 5% cashback through UPI. (Yes, for some transactions, the 5% cashback isn’t coming automatically right now — you’ll need to email them. They’ll give the 5% cashback manually. Since it’s a new network, HDFC Bank doesn’t yet have all the UPI data; they’ll collect it and update their credit card system in some time.)

RuPay EMI -

EMI and EMI discounts are supported on Flipkart. I haven’t checked on Amazon, but if it doesn’t work there, just email the bank — they’ll fix it.
Rupay ka promotion ka koi mauka nahi chorte

I have got this month cashback without any mail or call to customer care. Total shopping cashback was around 1010 and I got 1000 as this the threshold. Also got 1% cashback of 37 and 2 extra for groceries..🙂🙂🙂

So, I think Rupay millennia has corrected their backend and now it's really good to go credit card. You can convert to rupay without any hesitation or fear.

For some people still the problem exists you can mail them and they will credit manually.

This line "Everyone gives answers according to their own understanding. No one gives a clear answer."

Applies to you as well, even you didn't understand his needs 🤣 and what kind of stupid logic is "more people claim timesprime than it will devalue"?

Don't you promote all the leaks (which were told you) to your X/WhatsApp/DD and that too without payout lol?

Hypocrisy at it's peak.

Visa is much better than RuPay for his case. Period. Rest is his choice, not yours, not mine.

I’ve said what I had to say — it’s up to you whether you want to believe it or not.

I also want all 1.5 billion people of India to benefit from Visa’s TimesPrime offer. Everyone should get the Visa TimesPrime offer.

I don't need to believe anything, data is crystal clear.

If I purchase any product on Amazon or Flipkart through an affiliate link (like CashKaro or EarnKaro), will I get 5% cashback or not?

of course yes.
Already 20K spends done on Flipkart this month.

I am planning to purchase Refrigerator (18k-20k) and Cooler(9k-10k) on Flipkart in next 1-2 days.

I know now I will not earn 5% cashbback on millenia because 20k spends done already.

Anyway to get extra cashbback even 1% cashback other than instant discount on Milleennia cc .
