HDFC RUPAY UPI CREDIT CARD

Hey, anyone who is looking for HDFC Tata Neu Rupay Credit Card for UPI purpose. There's another option. HDFC has started providing HDFC Rupay UPI Credit Card to it's existing credit card customer. Check it via MyCards portal. Annual fees of just Rs.250+gst, waived of on spends of Rs.25000 only. Check if you have got the same offer in MyCards portal or not.
 
I am already holding HDFC UPI Rupay credit card which I got it thru Mycards, activated in around July month. This card's fees is Rs 250 + GST, got it as FYF and 25K spent to waive off annual fees. I'm also holding Regalia First credit card as LTF. UPI credit card Limit Is shared with Regalia First cc.

Now today, when I checked payzap app, it showed banner as check eligibility for UPI Rupay credit card and proceeded ahead showed I'm eligible, annual fees as Rs 99. Again proceeding ahead showed congratulations, new UPI credit card generated and showed me credit card number. This new card also got added in Payzap app itself and also added in HDFC Mobile banking app. I have not proceeded ahead afterwards like PIN generation etc. Its just there. So right now total 3 credit card it is showing in HDFC Mobile banking app. July month when I applied rupay cc is also there + today's rupay cc + my regular Regalia First (visa variant).

Why HDFC now showed Rs 99 annual fees? What about old rupay cc annual fees of Rs 250? It doesn't make any sense! I thought payzap app will show error saying I'm already holding rupay cc but instead it generated another rupay cc! Now what to do? Should I keep the card, or cancel Newer one or cancel older one? You guys are experts on this so could you please help & suggest me on this. Also tagging to most experienced person @Abhishek012

Both cards bin are same starting with 6530.

Listen, if you frequently use HDFC bank sales discount offers then these virtual RuPay credit cards are beneficiary for you because unlike other banks HDFC Bank issue the same card number on add-on cards. So, use this virtual only RuPay credit cards to utilize HDFC bank sales discount offers.

2nd thing, HDFC bank sometimes offer RuPay CC link UPI spend based offers.
 
Those who have this card along with other HDFC credit card, do you have to make separate payments to both cards or you can just make the total payment to any one card? I asked this in customer care around a month back and they told me that I can just make the payment in a single card. However for 2 days I was getting message that my card is blocked due to non-payment. I called customer care again today and now the executive told me that I will need to make separate payments. I enquired about the last call and he said that if this was told to you, then it is wrong information and bank would not report late payment to cibil if I pay the cc bill today and then raise dispute with the bank.

So what's the regular procedure? What should I do? The amount paid in my card was much higher than total statements of both cards.

It seems they misguided you. The payments have to be made separately. It's a separate card account on CIBIL.

Do escalate immediately to NO and PNO and tell them to supress the information on CIBIL. If you have a call recording, so attach it. Or else after requisite time, make a petition before RBIO.

Pay the bill today to avoid the non payment..
 
pay differently for both cards, this is not icici. icici use mostly use two accounts on cibil and hdfc uses different accounts for different cards even though limits are shared.

What showing in the app? Any due left?

Should I just directly mail the NO? or Should I first raise the issue with customer care?

Have you got the message of payment ?
If yes then no need to worry ,as there is always a grace period(Usually 5 days) after due date ..

After this date only bank sends the data as late payments..

If total outstanding is zero after payments then all good..

Was the payment received after due date ? In that case you'll have to definitely escalate with HDFC (with call recordings) to supress the information to CIBIL. I would write today to the nodal officer to generate an acknowledgement no asap. Will be required in case escalation before RBIO is required.
