HDFC will start reporting the Total Credit Limit instead of Utilized Limit from May 2023.

P.s. - Previously, HDFC was not reporting total credit limit to Credit Bureau. Due to this, usage calculation was high which wasn't true & lt led down the user's credit score.

This is really a relief to customers 😍😊.

May 2023 is already over. Does anyone with HDFC card see the original limit being disclosed in their credit report? As HDFC reports credit limit at the end of the month so someone can confirm if that's being happening.

It takes time to reflect, even if HDFC have completed their process.

In Axis, they report on month end but that report reflect by next month end. Report date will be same of previous month.

So we never know the exact working process of CIBIL.

HDFC has started to report actual credit limit to bureaus. Just now checked my CIBIL the 31st May data is already updated with actual credit limit mentioned in it. CIBIL went up 6 points because of this for me.

Check yours.
Checked CIBIL in Gpay. It is still not showing any credit limit. But score went up by 5 points. Did nothing different this month. So mostly Hdfc has reported but Gpay is not showing
