How to apply for a BOB credit card online - step by step guide

Hello everyone,
if you are facing any problem while applying for BOB credit cards online, this post is for you.
1. Click on this link — https://bit.ly/370oK7H
This will open "Apply Now" page, use our special link to get support from our team and you'll get lifetime free credit card (easy/select/premier).

2. Fill in your personal details such as Name, Email id, Mobile No., Date of Birth as mentioned in your Aadhar & enter PAN No. Tick declaration boxes & Click here to generate OTP.



3. On the next page you'll see a pop up - Enter the OTP in the space provided & Click on Verify OTP



4. On the next page, Select your Occupation type & mention your Gross Annual Income so that system can recommend a suitable Card



5. On the next page, select Vkyc & Please provide address for which you can furnish an authorised proof for e.g Aadhar



6.On the next page, Fill all the details related to your employment unless marked as optional



7. On the next page, BOB system will recommend you a suitable card & also showcase it’s key features


Select one card of your choice and click on confirm.

8. On the next page, BOB will ask you to provide few more additional details as part of the application process. Please fill all details unless marked as optional.
9. On the next page, BOB will ask you to apply for add on card, but I'll recommend you to select "No" option and apply for add on card later.
10. On the next page, BOB will ask you to register for "Direct Debit" facility ( Auto debit - credit card bill payment), again select "NO"



11. Now you have to upload —
a. your photo
b. Valid Id proof
c. Address Proof for address you’ve mentioned earlier
d. Last 2 Months Bank Statements showing Salary credited/ITR File/Other Bank Credit Card Statement With Card Photo Copy



12. No this page you might face some problems, like - you are uploading pdf file, but system is that accepting that...
To solve this problem make sure you are not uploading password protected pdf file, remove any password from pdf file and try to upload, if this doesn't solve your problem, repair your pdf online, go to this website - https://www.ilovepdf.com/repair-pdf upload your pdf file and click on "Repair PDF".
Then upload new pdf file on bob website, Click on "Submit & Proceed"

13. On the next page accept terms & conditions and click on "Accept"
14. On the next page, you'll be asked to e-sign your documents using Aadhaar E-Sign, Select Yes & Complete e-signing process.

Done! you'll see your application number on the screen, note down your application number for future reference.

Just received Eterna Card in my Mail today morning!
The card and box looks lovely; my first Premium Credit Card

But the limit offered is low I feel. I just got 1L limit on my card.

Yeah its just 25k spending to reverse 1st year fees.

Plus if we spend 50k then we get 10000RP bonus which equals to 2.5k in value terms, so 2nd year fees are sorted as well in that sense

hmmm Eterna had no fees reversal criteria I think, did the welcome letter mention that if yes congratulation do use fit pass 6 month subscription for free

it does have fee reversal; it’s even mentioned on the Eterna Page of BOB website.

oh yes i didn't applied cause of 2.5 lakhs reversal amount needed to be spend in previous year to get reversal , plus i wasn't sure i would get approved for eterna either cause it take forever for bob cause of too many application from consumer during march 2022

So I did my first payment of bob card from cred.... After 3 days.. It got failed... Did some amount from amazon also... That too not credited till now... But did from official bob payment link.... It was instantly credited.... Is anybody else facing the same issue??

Payments through their own systems are faster everywhere I guess.

Even with my OneCard, it gets credited immediately if I pay in-app. With CRED, it takes max 3 days.

I applied for BOB Credit card on 11th of April. BOB is mailing me to provide front photo of my credit card as part of additional documentation. I didn't want to share my card number, so I hid it in the front photo of the card and mailed the edited photo to them. Today, they have mailed me back, asking to share the unedited photo of the card telling specifically, that the card number should NOT be hidden. Should I send them the unedited photo, revealing my sensitive card details??

I had uploaded my card front image. Usually for C2C, unedited card front image is required ...

I heard that some international sites do not requirre CVV and OTP for transactions. Only, Card Number, Name and Validity. Does this not increase the risk of fraudulent transactions? Though after getting Millennia, I hardly use my Amazon card nowadays. I can manage by keeping transactions off in it. So you have not faced any issues after uploading your card image till now?

I think there is some issue going on with bob rupay credit cards specifically... Cred is instant on my one card also.. But bob failed.... I also used small amount to pay from amazon.... It has been a week... The amount has not been credited although amazon saying its successful... Have mailed crm@bobfinancial.com but they are taking their sweet time from 4 days... Today finally mailed to escalations@bobfinancial.com..... Let see what they say...

Its looking cheap... Considering its a premium card... Mine easy variant looks way funky.

Wouldn't have applied for this if it was for the looks Features/value is way more important to me so happy with that vs how it actually looks.

Yes.... Atleast they shud provide metal.. Its their flagship product.... But giving a plastoc card. Yes reward is quite good at 3.5%

Most people here must have uploaded. I don't think it's an issue.

After going through a lot of thoughts, I have finally decided to let go of my BOB Premier application as the benefits of BOB card were not looking worth taking risk of sharing my card details. I still use my Amazon Card for insurance premium payments through Amazon Pay, so cannot block it for online transactions. I may have also tried to block and reissue my credit card after sharing it's details. But the risk of application rejection/delay or card downgrade is also nudging me away from this hassle. I can't understand why there are insisting so much on my credit card details. HDFC gave me Millennia CC with a limit nearly equal to my Amazon Card with just it's statement. It did not ask me it's front photo. So why BOB is insisting so much on it?
