How to apply for a BOB credit card online - step by step guide

Hello everyone,
if you are facing any problem while applying for BOB credit cards online, this post is for you.
1. Click on this link — https://bit.ly/370oK7H
This will open "Apply Now" page, use our special link to get support from our team and you'll get lifetime free credit card (easy/select/premier).

2. Fill in your personal details such as Name, Email id, Mobile No., Date of Birth as mentioned in your Aadhar & enter PAN No. Tick declaration boxes & Click here to generate OTP.

3. On the next page you'll see a pop up - Enter the OTP in the space provided & Click on Verify OTP

4. On the next page, Select your Occupation type & mention your Gross Annual Income so that system can recommend a suitable Card

5. On the next page, select Vkyc & Please provide address for which you can furnish an authorised proof for e.g Aadhar

6.On the next page, Fill all the details related to your employment unless marked as optional

7. On the next page, BOB system will recommend you a suitable card & also showcase it’s key features

Select one card of your choice and click on confirm.

8. On the next page, BOB will ask you to provide few more additional details as part of the application process. Please fill all details unless marked as optional.
9. On the next page, BOB will ask you to apply for add on card, but I'll recommend you to select "No" option and apply for add on card later.
10. On the next page, BOB will ask you to register for "Direct Debit" facility ( Auto debit - credit card bill payment), again select "NO"

11. Now you have to upload —
a. your photo
b. Valid Id proof
c. Address Proof for address you’ve mentioned earlier
d. Last 2 Months Bank Statements showing Salary credited/ITR File/Other Bank Credit Card Statement With Card Photo Copy

12. No this page you might face some problems, like - you are uploading pdf file, but system is that accepting that...
To solve this problem make sure you are not uploading password protected pdf file, remove any password from pdf file and try to upload, if this doesn't solve your problem, repair your pdf online, go to this website - https://www.ilovepdf.com/repair-pdf upload your pdf file and click on "Repair PDF".
Then upload new pdf file on bob website, Click on "Submit & Proceed"

13. On the next page accept terms & conditions and click on "Accept"
14. On the next page, you'll be asked to e-sign your documents using Aadhaar E-Sign, Select Yes & Complete e-signing process.

Done! you'll see your application number on the screen, note down your application number for future reference.

Someone suggested me to go via the offline route. So I contacted the BoB guy who had helped me with the first card, he said currently it is not possible. Our Guruji @TechnoFino is an exception, he can get even 10 BoB cards and we cannot get 2nd! 😆
They are taking months to process 1st application of people.... If they open 2nd one... Floodgates will open
 
I applied for BoB card via link mentioned in thread. Application number received but no link received for vkyc. I raised issue via call, twitter, email. Then escalated it to highest level. Today they mailed me saying your application is under process.
I guess they haven't even read my email where I requested them to share link for vkyc.

I can't bear them anymore, now thinking to drop the idea of having their card

I had applied through your link bhai. It's more than 2 months there is no update. When I track, it says documents needed whereas i have already sent them my credit card statement and credit card image 2 times. Please help me get an update on my application. My Application number is - 220715900008644

Getting this msg for the last 2 months or so! The speed at which BoB CC works, I don't think we'll get to see this rolled out for everyone this year.
Yeah, might take ages.

I think one card is enough... Their rewards are not that good......if u have eterna.... No other card required... If not then.... Take any ltf card for offers or snapdeal one...
Yes absolutely. Premier or Eterna are the only valuable ones in my opinion.

I'm really surprised to know that my Eterna card has been made Life Time Free when didn't even full-fill the Criteria to get this card as LTF(30 Lakh ITR), although I requested for LTF.
Just now I called the Customer Care since my Fitpass Pro membership was not working, additionally they informed that my card has been issued in LTF Category. I couldn't believe so I asked him thrice, every time he confirmed & last time he challenged me why I'm asking multiple times.

Although I'm mailing them for confirmation in Black & White but I guess whoever wants to take Eterna now, this is the correct time.

I'm willing to give any information you would like to ask me so that all can get Eterna as LTF.
Currently i got approval message for eterna card, how did you got the LTF and where to request, any criteria required for LTF?
 
I had applied for BOB Eterna online (application number 220912900015236 ). Today the status says VKYC is pending and the link is sent to my mail and phone. However I have not received any link. Checked all sms and spam etc. Should I wait for a day or get in touch with them?

whom did you escalate to? waiting for video kyc link since 10 days. mails to crm and eterna helpdesk are futile.

wtf, so they rejected your application instead of providing video kyc link. This is pathetic. Seems like a mental torture dealing with them. Imagine if you get the card and have to raise some dispute or such.

This forum is full of such horrible experiences face by many. Few got their cards months after rejection.
Many got without any issue.
 
I mailed them to upgrade my card from Premier to Eterna LTF. Everytime they give a different reason not to issue me LTF Eterna (they are offering a paid one). This time they said that LTF Eterna is now being issued only as a fresh application and not provided as an upgrade. And I saw the same day someone on this forum informing that he got mail from them approving his LTF Eterna request.
Further, my request to conversions, crm was handled by same person Nitesh S Babriya. Is it normal that the same person is replying to the normal and escalation mails?

I see sometimes it is the same person. You end up with a different person as well. What you can do is try different email id ? eterna@bobfinancial.com or crm@bobfinancial.com or crm1@bobfinancial.com. Keep sending email twice a week. They are pretty bad with the response. If you keep sending emails you might end up with different person

Is it? I received mail from CRM team to upgrade Eterna by submitting documents with upgrade form. 1663230963137.png

can share the mail screenshot and also how did you upgrade conversions or crm and who was the representative form BOB was it nitesh s barbariya or any other?
