How to earn upto 30K ER on your Axis card with just one phone call

I just tried with select since it was due for renewal they asked me to clear outstanding & redeem edge balance & call back for closure request. I'm not sure if the offer is worth the edge balance that is yet pending to be credited.
I'm expecting more than 30k Edge rewards which will be purged if this card get closed.

Like I have mentioned above, this is a retention offer. You don't have to close the card to get the bonus points. Bonus points are offered so that you don't close the card.
May be you can call again and try with another agent? Did you specifically ask about any retention offer on Select?

I got the SR number for processing the 10 K reward points offer for my Magnus.
Should be credited in a day or two as per the agent and also on mail.
I asked them to close the card, he said you’ll get bonus 25k points on 1L spends. I told I do not see much spends on it in near future and it has 10k fees as well. Then specifically asked if there is any retention offer . He then mentioned about 10K ER points, I asked him to process it and share the SR no.

By the way, with Axis taking 90-120 days to credit ER, anyone with decent spends will always have a good amount of ER stuck in the system. Axis will know that even if they do not give retention offer, most people will stay back for those stuck ER points, as there will be no way to redeem those points. Those who have not spent much may leave, but Axis will only have the heavy users in the system without having to offer any retention benefits. Unless someone stops using the card for 3-4 months and then asks for retention benefit, which again will defeat the purpose. So this 90-120 days gap works very well for Axis.

That they are still offering retention benefits as of now is great, but I doubt this will continue for too long.

yes but let me try my luck with another agent

Sak ho gaya lagta hai. Maine ek agent ko bola wo pahle khud se hi bola 10k points ka bat fir kisi reason se hold karne bola aur fir 2-3 min bad bolta hai ki apka card ka outstanding clear karke phone kijiye hum closure request le lunga.
Saare aaj ke aaj hi retention bonus leloge lag raga hai 😂
Axis will definitely suspect these individuals belong to some group or the other.

Magnus Test Result : Successfull

I am having Magnus card which is around 7-8 months old. Called them to close my card they instantly offered me a 10K points. Executive mentioned that with in 24hours I'll get the 10K points.

Mail I received post this is like this

Your Service Request no. XXXXXXX for Reward Point Offer is successfully registered. We will get back to you by 29/05/2023 6:00:58 PM.

Feel free to try this, just make sure you must be having some pending due to avoid accidental closure of card.

Mostly Axis offers these retention bonus points once every year per customer. Therefore, choose the highest variant of your cards for retention first. But, there are cases where people have received for multiple cards in the same year. So, no harm in trying for other cards as well.
Anyone tried for multiple cards? 🤣
