Yes of course... oh wait... No it can't.... oh wait... based on the information you've provided the correct answer is "for you... who the f knows".

Look at the joining fees + welcome benefits first and do you own analysis of whether it's appealing to you. Then share some information about your spend types, velocity, forex vs. INR etc. and what kind of rewards you look/aspire to cash out on.

Agree, Citi is best. I am their card holder since 2005 and Jet Airways card was the best ever card ever launched in India. Better than Magnus. Rewards were amazing and the upgrade voucher was a beauty.

I also hold Citigold account since 2005. Have closed now with Axis taking over.

10k miles its not voucher, paying 3k for 10k looked better deal than FYF.

How I requested to upgrade my iocl card to PM. They say upgrade can be processed but no joining benefits will be given (this was deal killer for me). Have 4.7 limit on 9yrs old card

No way! I did not ask about this joining benefit neither did they inform me. I thought it is by default as per their feature

Just ask them to upgrade it. You'll get the joining benefit of 10k miles irrespective of what the executive says.

When did you upgrade it? You'll get the miles without going to war with them.
