Min amount - 2500
Limited to 1 per month

For regular use with bills around 1.5k - 2k, ED card is much better. There is no limit to the number of times you get 25% off.

Speaking from my experience as I have both the cards and end up using ED most of the time. When we go out with more people, bill crosses 4k and even in that case, ED gives 1k same as Axis cc and I can redeem my points as well.

Sweetspot to use Axis cc is between 2.5k to 4k.

You just need to increase the bill to 2500 or just above it, after the restaurant's 25% discount.
Order some take away items.

Can do that just to get the extra discount, but dont really need the extra food especially after dinner. I know Axis discount % is better, but in some cases, ED works out better. Especially small cafes where you just spend about 1k.

What about other times we go out in a month? 1 time use per month is not good enough anymore. They should have left it at 2 atleast.

Just because Axis gives better discount, cant say that ED is not worth it. Both cards have their own uses.

I think ICICI net banking gives membership for 2 rupees and Axis Samsung and Atlas & Burgundy also give it free

It was there before, I don't know if it is still available
cool, just wanted to know if it was under offers section or a separate timebound pop-up... as I never saw such offer, nor did I see any post anywhere on the internet which said that ICICI is giving ED membership (I hold Sapphiro and WM account and so highly unlikely that I wont be given such offer)
